Ashley's Best Friend Since Birth: Shannon came into Ashley's life thanks to Lynn Road in good ole Leedom, PA - she was Ashley's next door neighbor. As they grew up together, Shannon & Ashley quickly became attached at the hip. Somewhere between block parties, throwing things to each other from our bedroom windows, and trips to “What’s the Scoop” singing ‘All by Myself’, they evolved from neighbors to best friends to sisters. Ashley feels so fortunate to have gone through (and continue to go through) every stage of life (literally) with someone as special as Shannon - her constant, her sister. Many people search their whole lives for what they have - Ashley is so thankful for her.

Ashley's Neighbor Turned Sister: Brittany was “the first born” of their Lynn Road Family (and official sister of Shannon). Growing up together, Ashley learned so much from her “neighbor” - Brittany taught her how to shave her legs, the lyrics to “Move” by Ludacris, and how to be “cool”... but more importantly, she taught Ashley how to make someone feel welcomed, loved and supported. Ashley always loved to look up to Brittany as an example before entering a new phase in life (and still do). From laughing to crying and everything in between, Ashley is thankful for an older sister like Brittany to rely on and couldn't imagine getting married without her.

Ashley's Grade School Girly - Erin and Ashley met in 1st grade at Our Lady of Fatima and haven’t skipped a beat since. Erin is Ashley's timeless friend - they can see each other every day or once a year (or less) and nothing changes. Being able to pick up right where you left off with someone is such a special connection and Ashley's thankful to say her and Erin have that. Through thick & thin, Ashley knows Erin is only a call or text away and now only a block away (which Ashley loves!!!!). Fatima forever!

Ashley's Not So "Little" Cousin - Being an only child, family/cousins have always been so important to Ashley. Over the years, Lilly has become what feels like a little sister to Ashley. From their sleepovers in Philly to "hey, can you pick me up?" texts, they've grown so close. Ashley will never forget the day Lilly's mom told her she was pregnant. Lilly was the first baby Ashley held and actually felt comfortable doing so. It's hard to believe that Lilly is now TALLER than Ashley, a freshman in highschool and will be standing by her side for her wedding.

Ashley's Ridley Gal - While it wasn't until sophomore year of high school that they met through mutual friends, it was always destined they'd become best friends having grown up only a block away from each other (without even knowing it). From the "folsom boys" to dances to sleepovers/late night drives, they became two peas in a pod. So much so, that a few years after college, in one of their "catch up" conversations, they decided to level up our friendship and become roommates and have been inseparable since (even if they aren't "roommates" any longer).

Ashley's Hawkmate - Nicole and Ashley met freshman year at SJU as suitemates. Their connection was instant and has grown stronger & stronger every day since. Whether it be "booster club" shenanigans, freshman "emerson" trips, time in the Perch .... they we're ALWAYS IN. Though they often make fun of themselves looking back, Ashley wouldn't change a thing as she gained her best friend through it all. At SJU, it is said that when you find your soulmate, they are your hawkmate and though Nicole is happily married to a fellow SJU alum (and Ashley will be soon), Ashley & Nicole will forever be each others' true hawkmate.

Ashley's Rock - Kailee & Ashley first met at SJU (freshman or sophomore year). While they always hung out with the same group of friends, it wasn't until after college that their friendship truly sparked. Described by Ashley as the purest, most kind soul out there - everyone needs a "Kailee" in their life. There's no one else Ashley would rather text 24/7, eat endless hot dogs with, recklessly drive golf carts with or reflect on and embrace life with than Kailee. She keeps Ashley grounded and provides such impactful insights/wisdom.

Ashley's Partner in Crime - Daniela & Ashley met at SJU when Daniela decided to officially become a "frisbee girl". From frisbee tournaments to parties to afternoon Kimmy sessions, Daniela and Ashley stuck together. Ashley referred to as the "Grandma Dove" and Daniela, the original "Baby Dove", became very close, very fast. It's always fun with Daniela - wine nights, group texts, trips to visit her in Atlanta, borrowing her shoes, etc. Daniela is a beautiful, smart, free-spirit that always brings Ashley's life to the level - for the better!

Ashley's "Girltone" - Ashley met Kim in 2017 when her and Jerry (Ryan's Brother) rekindled their love. It was awesome to have another girl in the crew (someone who could relate to what it meant to be dating a Mantone). Since that day, Kim has grown to become such an important person in Ashley's life. Ryan & Ashley look up to Kim/Jerry in many ways and have appreciated their love and support throughout the years. Having stood by Kim's side when she married Jerry a few years ago, Ashley is so honored to now have her be a part of their big day and the next big chapter in their lives.

Ryan's Brother - Jerry & Ryan grew up on Highland Ave in good ole Madison, NJ. Sharing a love of Super Mario Bros, video games, golf, all things Yankees & beyond, Ryan and Jerry have grown closer & closer over the years. While they've had their fair share of "brotherly disputes", they have developed such a deep connection rooted on respect & support. Jerry is always there and has been someone Ryan seeks advice/support from. While Jerry is Ryan's big brother - that energy doesn't stop there - he emulates "big brother energy" to many others as well. Ryan couldn't imagine a day or life without Jerry by his side.

Ryan's Brother from Another Mother - TJ is Ryan's partner in crime in so many ways. Ryan & TJ met as freshmen at Seton Hall (High School) and haven't skipped a beat since (despite transferring high schools, going to different colleges & now, living across the country). With their self-declared nicknames of "Abs and Flow", these two are a duo to watch out for. It is always entertaining when these two are together. Whether it's their back & forth banter, their nerd hobbies (pokemon, anime, etc.), calling each other's moms mom - it's clear this is a lifelong friendship.

Ryan's Go to Guy - One of the O-7 ("Original Seven") of Dirty Birds Frisbee. Greg & Ryan met as freshmen at SJU - each being one of the 7 freshmen on the ultimate frisbee team. They were the best ones on the team by far (just don't ask anyone!). When Ryan & Greg are together, their spirit and energy is contagious (and electric). Ryan & Greg so beautifully compliment each other and when together, this bond is so visible for those around them to enjoy. From their special handshake to being 'power hour' hype men, Ryan & Greg's friendship is one many seek for (and one that is greatly appreciated).

Ryan's Partner in Crime - Pat & Ryan met their freshman year at SJU. These two hit it off right away - with their love of frisbee, Nets fandom and just general debauchery (which has continued to this day). In college, 9 times out of 10, you couldn't find one without the other. While Ryan and Pat are friends at the core, many of their tendencies relate to brothers. Their passionate arguments about super important topics and their back & forth mockery is entertaining to say the least. At the end of the day, these two are a constant in each other's lives and will remain that way for a lifetime to come.

Ryan's "Fox Boy" - Chris (or Prosch/Prosica as many call him) and Ryan met their freshman year at SJU. Ryan was unable to attend the SJU Orientation due to a family trip to Italy, therefore, he went to college early to participate in a service program called PSIP. This is where Ryan met Chris. From that point on, Ryan & Chris developed a joint friend group and ultimately, they ended up being "suite/housemates" for basically all 4 years of college. Over the years, these two bonded over many things like the Nets, video games, pedicure dates (yes, they get pedicures) & more. Prosch has grown to be a lifelong friend and one who has been/will be along for the ride.

Ryan's Golf Buddy - Tom & Ryan met their freshman year at SJU (Tom was another member of the "O-7" on the frisbee team). Aside from frisbee, they also bonded over not having a roommate for a point of time their freshman year. They used this to their advantage and became good friends as a result, spend time and going out together often. This was the beginning of a college long/lifelong friendship. After freshman year, they became suite/housemates for the remaining 3 years. Ever since, Ryan & Tom haven't skipped a beat. As they have grown into adulthood, Tom has become Ryan's "want to get a beer and catch up?" friend. No matter where they are or what's going on in life, they find the time to grab the beer and enjoy their friendship (usually accompanied by golf and/or watching a sports game). Tom is a very important person to Ryan and will remain to be for many years to come!

Ryan's Guy, Buddy & Fwend - Kev and Ryan met in their freshman dorm at SJU through mutual friends. It wasn't long from there, that their friendship blossomed. After freshman year, Ryan and Kev we're suite/housemates through Senior Year (from "the Swoo" to 63rd). Ryan's & Kev's bedrooms were next to each other their senior year and you'd find them constantly bopping back & forth (Kev's room was the spot to be). Often times when the two are together, you'll hear them speaking in only quotes ... quotes from movies, quotes from South Park, you name it and odds are, they know it and are quoting it. Also when together, you will often find Ryan & Kev laughing and goofing around - they can find fun in whatever they do (mini golf at Delco Steaks, hot tub chillin, watching Bar Rescue, etc.). Not only is their friendship anchored on good times, it's anchored on support, love & a "I'm here for you dawg" mentality.

Ryan's Laddie - Ryan & Chris met at SJU their freshman year (after Chris transferred to SJU). Chris was an instant hit at SJU - making friends & fitting in instantly. Ryan often jokes how Chris knew more people at SJU on his day 1 than Ryan knew his whole first year. Chris became a part of the "frisbee boy" friend group pretty organically (and quickly). Chris would show up to Ryan's suite in "The Swoo" to hang out and the hang-outs haven't stopped since. In many ways, Chris became the "add-in suitemate" (which continued into junior year in the house on 63rd). Because of this, Ryan & Chris have had and continue to have many funny/great memories together - things in backpacks, drinks at bayou, kickball championships, mountain trips, etc. Chris brings such positivity and fun to Ryan's life and he couldn't imagine getting married without him by his side.

"My Man" as Ryan Describes: Dan and Ryan met their freshmen year at SJU through none other than the ultimate frisbee team (Dan was another one of the "O-7" members). Over the years, Dan & Ryan have grown to become each other's go-to guy ... from the "hey, it's Tuesday night, let's hang" to "Sixers/Nets play Sunday, we going?" to "I'm thinking of hosting this event at work, what are your thoughts?". Ryan & Dan's friendship is anchored on reliability and showing up when it really matters - They prioritize time together and make it matter when they are. Dan is a Two Thumbs Up Guy (or two toes if he's using his hand - Note: This is as an inside joke, so don't be confused if you don't understand the reference). In all seriousness, Ryan's big day wouldn't be the same without Dan by his side.
