Like any modern love story, we met each other on the dating app, “Hinge”. After getting to know each other over the phone for about 2 weeks (if you ask Chris, he’d say this was the 2nd time around… if you want that story, ask us. haha), we planned our first date. Ashley was living in Ellensburg at the time, and she decided to drive all the way to down to the Tri Cities to meet this man. But of course, she couldn’t go alone, so she brought her trusty wingwoman, Belle. Our first date consisted of taking Belle to the dog park, and then we had dinner. Ashley knew Chris was a pretty special guy when she had to run out to her car to grab Belle’s dinner, and when she came back inside Chris’ house, he was laying on the floor playing/wrestling with Belle. If you know anything about Ashley, if Belle is a happy girl, Ashley is happy. You know the saying, “When you know, you know.”? That’s what it was like for us. We started dating 2 weeks after our first date, and now here we are! We joke around about how we’re the female and male versions of each other, but holy cow, it couldn’t be anymore true. From watching hockey, to going golfing together, to comedy shows, and traveling together, we were made for each other. Forever & ever.
