Our Love Story Damien and I first crossed paths over a decade ago at a wedding. He was there as the talented musician, playing the melodies that would fill the air, and I was simply a guest, unaware that this moment would change the course of my life forever. From the very first glance, it was love at first sight. It wasn’t just the music that drew me in—it was the way his smile lit up the room, the way he carried himself with such ease and warmth. We started talking, exchanging stories and laughter, and just like that, we began to build something special. The connection was instant, and what began as casual conversations quickly blossomed into something deeper. We spent time getting to know each other, sharing our dreams, our hopes, and everything in between. From day one, we had each other’s backs. Whether it was supporting one another through tough times or celebrating the joys of life, we found ourselves as each other’s biggest supporters. Through all the highs and lows, we never let go. As the years passed, our love only grew stronger. Together, we navigated life’s ups and downs, and every challenge only made us more resilient. We became each other’s rock, and it was clear to both of us that we were meant to walk this journey together. In 2019, on New Year’s Day, Damien took that next step and asked me to be his forever. It was a moment that felt both surreal and incredibly real at the same time. We were holding each other down, as we always had, but this time, it was a promise of forever. I said yes without a second thought, knowing that I had found the love of my life, the person who would walk beside me through all the days to come. Now, as we approach our wedding day, I can’t help but reflect on the beautiful story we’ve written together. From a chance meeting at a wedding to building a life filled with laughter, love, and unwavering support, our journey has been nothing short of magical. And as we stand on the brink of this new chapter, I’m filled with excitement for the future we’ll continue to build together.
