Our Wedding

Ashley and Matt first met in 2019 while working as oncology nurses in Philadelphia. Over the years, they developed a unique bond as both coworkers and friends, caring for patients amid a global pandemic. What started as a great friendship unexpectedly turned into love, and they haven’t looked back since!

How We Met

Over the Years

Through the years, Ashley and Matt have enjoyed traveling, hiking, attending concerts and sporting events, exploring Philadelphia, spending time with friends and family, and most importantly snuggling their dog Po.

The Proposal

Matt was determined to truly surprise Ashley when he proposed. After a rainy day spent gardening, Matt convinced Ashley to put down the shovel and go for a walk to get ice cream. On the way home, Matt popped the question outside their Philadelphia rowhome and Ashley (speechless, surprised, and covered in rain) said yes!! Little did Ashley know, she would be surprised again when she opened the front door and found their friends and family inside, eagerly waiting to celebrate their engagement!

Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres is connected to an adults-only sister resort, TRS Coral. Our room block is located within Grand Palladium, which is family-friendly and where all wedding events will occur. If interested, you may book a Family Selection (FS) room allowing access to both Grand Palladium and TRS Coral. Family Selection is the only room category that includes access to TRS Coral. Children under the age of 17 are free within the FS category, however are NOT allowed to access TRS Coral since it is adults-only. While not necessary, we wanted our guests to be aware of this option.

Important Dates:

August 1, 2025:&nbsp;Last day to book the room within the group block to join in on the wedding festivities and receive the discounted rate with a $100 per person non-refundable deposit. August 25, 2025:&nbsp;Final hotel room balance payment due December 2-4, 2025:&nbsp;Arrive in Mexico December 5, 2025:&nbsp;WEDDING DAY

The closest airport is Cancun International Airport (CUN), approximately 45 minutes from the resort. Click below to provide your flight information so our travel agent, Nicole, can provide your flight information to the ground transportation company. ***Please note, the arrivals section of the Cancun airport can be crowded and overwhelming. Uber/Lyft are NOT permitted on the property. We highly recommend booking transportation through Funjet.***

For an additional fee, book a massage or hydrotherapy session at the resort spa! Matt and I highly recommend the hydrotherapy circuit (sauna, steam room, ice room, salt room, hot tub, cold plunge, hydro massage beds).
