We have been closer than we knew our whole lives. My brother was friends with Eli in high school and we both grew up with the same family friends. Flash forward to March of 2020; Eli had been home from the Army a few months now. I went over to my brother and sister-in-law's house with an unexpected visit from Eli. We got to talking and just a few days later, we went on our first date at his Pop-Pop's farm. Conversation had never been so easy. We felt like we had known each other forever.

In July of 2021 we bought our first house together and one short year later we got engaged! We were shooting off fireworks, lakeside in SC, when Eli got down on one knee with a sparkler in one hand and the ring in the other.

These past four years together have been everything we could've dreamed of and more. From buying our first house, raising goats, and raising a puppy, we sure have learned a lot about each other. We continue to grow together and fall more in love every day. We knew from the beginning that together is exactly where we were meant to be.
