Our Wedding

Like any good story, our story begins at the Olive Garden. Rebekah (Ashley's room mate and best friend) wanted to hang out with her co-worker, Trevor, who she was convinced hated her. Trevor likes to note that Ashley was wearing her Mac Miller 'Circles' hoodie; Ashley likes to say that she looked terrible. At dinner, sarcastic comments were exchanged and a friendship began. The next time Ashley and Trevor saw each other was at bowling. Ashley decided to wear makeup so that Trevor would not think she always looked like she did at the Olive Garden. Although at the time they were still just friends -- Trevor definitely noticed. After bowling, Trevor and Ashley hung out as friends a few times playing Mario Kart, watching the Twilight Series, etc. Normal stuff. Finally, Ashley decided they should hang out as more than just friends because she was developing feelings. She discussed with Rebekah, who gave her permission. Ashley texted Trevor to hang out and he got the hint. The only question he had was if Rebekah knew. Obviously she did. The day Ashley and Trever were supposed to hang out, Rebekah went to Trevor's office (they were still working together) to ask what his intentions were, and gave him permission to explore the relationship. The first night they hung out, they listened to records all night, which both of them love. When Ashley said she needed to go home, Trevor walked her to the car. She said goodnight and he said "that's it?" (Trevor disputes saying anything). Ashley had to grab Trevor and pull him in for the first kiss because he was not going to make the first move. Now, Trevor says that's when he knew. The next day both of them knew they wanted to see each other and threw dating etiquette out the window. They hung out for three days straight and didn't get sick of each other. That is when Ashley knew. From then on out, they were together a good amount of time. They defined the relationship and officially started dating on May 4th, 2022. Although their first date was technically at the record store in Bishop Arts, Trevor did not actually ask Ashley on a date until July 3, 2022 in San Antonio. They both met each others families, and fell in love. After months (a year plus) of Ashley giving Trevor a hard time, he finally proposed on her birthday. April 4, 2024.
