It is going to be all outside, (weather permitting) with a tent area for the reception. (Yes, in the grass so ladies may want to plan accordingly with heel choice)
What is the dress code for the wedding?
Dressy Casual: We want you to be comfortable at our wedding. The dress code is dressy casual attire. For this time of year in Florida, may we suggest the following attire according to your prefences.
Women: cocktail-length dress or dressy separates and flats or wedge heels for the outdoor ceremony on the lawn.
Men: light dress shirt with khaki or other lightweight slacks; jackets and ties optional.
Please try to avoid jeans and the color white:)
Are there any colors or styles you'd prefer me to wear?
The obvious answer is just to avoid white or off white clothing but other than that it is on a ranch so if you choose to go with that theme feel free but not necessary. (The wedding colors are steel/dusty blue, if you don’t want to match with the wedding party)
Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
Since we want to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, we're only inviting our closest loved ones. Plus ones have been added by name to your RSVP page but if you don't see their name listed with yours feel free to reach out to clarify with us. We look forward to seeing you soon!
Am I allowed to bring my children?
Yes! We love your children and would love them to share in our special day, but if you would rather spend the day child free, that's okay too! we have tried to come up with some accommodations to make this the best experience for everyone but if there's something specific you think we could do please don't hesitate to let us know!
We are going to have plenty of kid friendly activities and games, a small playground/swing set, and we tried to add a couple kid friendly options to the food menu. We also have talked about having a baby sitter on site to help with child care later in the evening, if this is something you would be interested in please let us know so we can arrange that.
What type of food will be served at your wedding?
We will be having buffet style BBQ for the meal at the reception. Please be sure to include dietary restrictions in your RSVP so we can try and accommodate everyones needs)
(We are doing cup cakes for dessert and will have vegan/dairy free option)
Will there be an open bar?
Yes, we will have alcohol for those guests who are of age and choose to partake. We will be providing all the alcohol ourselves so please make sure to let us know your preference when you RSVP and we will do our best to get an appropriate selection. Feel free to bring your own if you have something specific you would like to drink.
Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can bring it to the reception but you can also have it delivered to our home at 8165 Albatross Rd, Fort Myers, FL 33967. A wedding card box will be at our reception.
Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?
Yes, but we wont leave you hanging! There will be a cocktail hour on the pool deck while we wait for the real party to start! (aka we finish taking a million painstaking photos)
Will there be other events to attend on the wedding weekend?
Yes, we will be having a brunch the day after the wedding to nurse our hangovers and say goodbye to our out of town family. Feel free to join but if you have to go we understand! We also wont be leaving for our honeymoon until the following week so if you are still in town and want to see us other than the wedding day let us know!
Where are you going on your honeymoon?
An all inclusive resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic called Excellence Punta Cana from 11/15 to 11/24! ❤️
