Can I bring a guest?
We unfortunately cannot accommodate additional guests. Due to limited capacity, we can only allow the people named on your formal invitation. Your invitation will be made out to "{Your Name} & Guest" if a plus one has been given to you.
Are children allowed at the wedding?
We have chosen to make our special day an adults-only celebration to ensure all guests, especially parents, can fully immerse themselves in the joy of the occasion. The only exception is those who are asked to be a part of the wedding party. We hope this advance notice means you are still able to join us for our big day! Your understanding means the world to us, and we can't wait to celebrate with you.
Is there a Welcome Party the night before?
Unfortunately, we have to cancel our originally scheduled Welcome Party for June 26th. The venue we had booked for this event is closing. Due to new venue constraints, only those with a role in the ceremony will be included in the new Rehearsal Dinner the night before the wedding. Thank you for your understanding with this unexpected change.
Do I have to RSVP?
Yes. An RSVP is REQUIRED for everyone. Please follow the instructions on your formal wedding invitation. It is essential in planning for the ceremony seating and reception meals. If we do not get an RSVP back by the date on your invitation, it will be marked as a "No." If you are having trouble accessing the digital RSVP, please reach out to the bride or groom so they can help you.
Where should we book accommodations?
Please refer to the "Travel" page on our wedding websites. We have a main room block at the Fairfield Inn and Suites. Hotel rooms sell quickly in this area so be sure to book your room ahead.
What is the easiest way to get to and from the wedding venue?
The Apple Orchard Lodge (Dibbles Inn) is approximately 10 minutes away from our hotel block and has plenty of onsite parking. We are providing a complimentary shuttle from our hotel block at the Fairfield Inn and Suites. Please take a look at our "Guest Shuttles" page on our website for more information.
What is the dress code?
We would love to see our family and friends dressed up with us! We are requesting semi-formal attire for our wedding. For women this means knee-length or midi dresses, dressy pantsuits, nice skirts paired with a blouse, etc. For men this means suits with a dress shirt, optional tie, or dress pants with a dressy shirt.
Will there be an open bar?
Heck yeah! Open bar will be available at our wedding from the conclusion of our ceremony at 5:15pm to 11:00pm. Please drink responsibly and plan a ride home, call an Uber/taxi, or use our complimentary wedding shuttles to the hotel block.
Do I need my I.D. to drink at your wedding?
The venue has stated that a valid I.D. is required for anyone who plans to consume alcohol at the reception. I would plan to bring one just in case they ask to see it.
Do you have a gift registry anywhere?
If you were thinking of giving a gift to help us on our way, a contribution to our Honeymoon Fund would really make our day. Please visit the "Registry" tab on our wedding website to access our Honeymoon Fund and registry. There will also be a card box and gift table at the venue.
