Salem's Historic Downtown District is full of ocean front restaurants, breweries (Notch Brewing is a great one), and little shops. Not to mention you can get a full history lesson of the shipping industry and the witch trials!

Newburyport is about 15-20 minutes north of Danvers/Topsfield area and is another great spot for ocean front dining, small shops, and some harbor boat cruises that you can book day of!
