Kyle Basehore - Best Man
Where to begin? Kyle is my only brother and lifelong friend. From the moment he came on the scene in 1989, I knew we had established a notorious duo. We started out running the mean streets of the Pine Ridge housing projects, and quickly escalated to unsanctioned nighttime street races on our two-wheelers. Unfortunately, I had to retire from my bicycle street racing days at age 8 when I suffered a career ending nose injury. Kyle was 4 at the time, but I'm sure he remembers the carnage. Soon after retirement, Kyle and I spent summers body surfing the waves of the Jersey shore until our rash guards became discolored, and our water moccasins filled with sand. Now we spend summers turning Par 5's into Par 4's off the tee, and and watching the sunset behind a cold bevy. I am fortunate to have a brother like Kyle, and am thrilled that he has this special part in our wedding day!"Our brothers and sisters are there with us from the dawn of our personal stories, to the inevitable dusk." - Susan Scarf Merrell
Christina Simone - Maid of Honor
Christina has been my Best Friend and go-to girl for the past 10 years! We met through mutual friends during our freshman year of college and grew closer and closer over the years. She is the most dependable friend in the world and will never let you down. No matter what, she will always be there to support and help you. Christina was there for me through college, study abroad, The Peace Corps, and now my wedding. Thankfully, I found a best friend who understands that sometimes you just need to belt out some Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, or any Disney song at the top of your lungs while dancing the day or night away! I couldn't imagine my life without her and I am so lucky to have her as my Maid of Honor.
Rebekah Fessler - Bridesmaid
Rebekah was my first sister! I remember when she was born and the overall excitement of getting a little sister! She is such an amazing person and easily one of the most hysterical people I know. Whether she is doing her amazing Napoleon Dynamite impressions or telling me the funny stories about her work, she always keeps me laughing. When Rebekah became a Mommy 3 years ago I had a whole new found respect and love for her. Not only did she give birth to this little nugget ,that I love more than anything, she also works full time while taking such amazing care of Annaleigh. I'm so happy to have her by my side for this special day!
Griff Basehore - Groomsman
My very first cousin Griff! Undoubtedly, the best golfer in the room at any given moment (Don't tell him I said that). Griff has always made me proud to be his cousin. I think back to when we were little kids going on family vacations, and remember all the good times that we had playing N64 and running around in his mountainous back yard. Although he is a San Francisco Giants and 49ers fan, I'll give him a pass and am proud to have him stand with me on our special day!"The most rewarding things you do in life are often the ones that look like they cannot be done." - Arnold Palmer
April Fessler - Bridesmaid
Ohhhh where to begin with my little sista April! She is by far the "Punniest" person I know. April has a way with words and is constantly cracking me up. She's a girl after my own heart and loves Avatar, candles, and yoga as much as I do. She inspires me to be healthy and keep active through her snapchats of healthy food and work outs! April is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. I love her more than words can describe..."Cause we are sistas, we stick together!" Having her stand beside me on this important day means the world to me!
Brandon Magown - Groomsman
I'll never forget the first time I met my cousin Brandon. It was just after he was born, and I held him on my Aunt Chrissie's couch at her Ventnor, NJ apartment. I was scared. I had never held a baby before, and suddenly I had his life in my hands so to speak. Luckily, we both escaped unharmed, and he has grown up to be just an incredible person. Always entertaining, and always bringing his baseball trivia "A" game, Brandon has never ceased to amaze me. Thanks for being in my bullpen on this important game day!"It's hard to win, period ... You've got to have the talent, but some fight comes into play." - Charlie Manuel
Jesse Troiano - Groomsman
This guy is remarkable. I once saw him swim in the ocean for 16 hours straight... Along with his ability to remain buoyant in the ocean for extended stretches of time, he has many other outstanding qualities, such as: the ability to maintain sanity on extremely long road trips (20+ hours), the ability to always make me laugh, and most importantly, his ability to take good care of others. I have always had tremendous respect for my cousin Jesse, and am proud to have him with me on this day."Enjoy Your Youth." - Jesse Troiano
Michelle Fessler - Bridesmaid
My third sister! The sweetest most loving girl ever!! Michelle is known as "Lovey" in our family and she earned that name. Literally, just a good hearted person who wants to help everyone. She may be the youngest of the 4 of us but she is so responsible and hard working! She bought her first car on her own, works two jobs, and goes to school full time. So proud of the woman she is becoming. No matter what, Michelle always makes time to come visit Tom and I for dinner or just to hang out. I am beyond blessed to have her as a sister and friend and couldn't be happier to have her support me on our wedding day.
Steven Magown - Groomsman
There is one word I can use to describe Steven: "Courage". Not because he jumped out of an airplane, or can public speak like a seasoned politician, but because he has always strived to achieve things that are outside of his comfort zone. I have always admired Steven's ability to do that. I am proud of him as my cousin and a person, and am thrilled to have him with us on our wedding day."Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts." - Winston S. Churchill
Ricci Pitzer - Bridesmaid
The Pitzer! Ricci and I met during my junior year at WVU. We both signed up for the study abroad program in Fiji and communicated through Facebook before meeting at our first meet and greet for the trip. She and I hit it off quickly and after the most amazing trip of self discovery we realized we were soul mates. After returning from Fiji we had the travel bug and quickly planned a road trip to FL the next month. Once we returned to WVU for our 2009 Fall Semester we heard of another study abroad opportunity to Patagonia, Chile and without hesitation we signed up. What an amazing adventure partner. No matter the distance between us Ricci and I have stayed in close contact over the years through visits and phone calls! Ricci is just the most genuine, honest, and caring person and I am beyond lucky to have her with me through this whole process!
Mike Oldsey - Groomsman
I met Michael Francis Oldsey (aka Oldsey) on the campus of West Virginia University in August 2005, where we spent many hours studying and pursuing the finer aspects of academia. As responsible young adults, our rigorous academic schedules left little time for fraternizing. However, Oldsey and I bonded socially over our affinity for certain genres of music and beverages. Eventually, we became roommates and good friends to this very day. It's a great honor to have Oldsey with us on our wedding day."With a rebel yell, she cried more, more, more." - Billy Idol
Elise Rehoric - Bridesmaid
My Champagne loving partner-in-Charcuterie et Fromage! Elise and I became great friends when we met while working at La Belle Epoque in Media, PA, 5 years ago. One of our first experiences together was during a very busy evening and we were all in the weeds. Elise was food running that night and my table didn't have their appetizer of Mussels yet. So, in a panic, I ran to the kitchen and yelled to the first person I saw (who happened to be Elise) "Where are my MOULES!" It was LOVE. From our 5 hour Champagne brunching sessions to our late nights of wine and cheese plates we never run out of great conversation about everything that is going on in our lives. Elise is nothing short of amazing and is always there for me. We have been through a lot together and I wouldn't have it any other way! We share something special and I'm honored to have you be a part of this special day!
Tom Cossari - Groomsman
Tom Cossari took the halls of Indian Mills Memorial School by storm in 7th Grade. Since then we have become great friends, and made lots of memories. As a staunch Eagles fan, Tom has been a very enjoyable Eagles game watching partner over the decades. Tom and I were also roommates in Berlin, NJ, for little more than 3 years of our adult lives. During this time, I had the pleasure of getting to know, and help raise, his dog "The Ruckus", one of the most kind, loving, and entertaining dogs of all time. Tom is one of the most generous people I know. He would do anything to help his family and friends. I am fortunate to have a friend like Tom, and look forward to having him with us on our wedding day."Practice?! We're talkin 'bout practice! Not a game! Practice!" - Allen Iverson
Annie Fleckser - Bridesmaid
My #1 B!! The one who is there for it all!! We call to fill each other in on EVERY little detail of our lives and I love it! Annie and I met while working at Chubb Insurance almost 4 years ago. We became close friends when she inspired me to start going to the gym during lunch! One of the best decisions ever. To this day she and I still go to the gym at lunch! She is the most amazing mother, wife, friend, and also a great chef. Annie has the best dinner parties and executes them flawlessly, every time. Probably one of the most talented and dedicated people I know. She's not only my favorite Happy Hour Partner but also my very serious work out partner who never let's me take the easy way out! Even when I really don't feel like working out. She is one of the most positive influences in my life and I couldn't go through this experience without her.
