What date should I RSVP by?
RSVP online by May 21st - don't forget to select what you would like to eat for supper!
Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?
Please RSVP online through the wedding website. You can click the "RSVP" tab.
What are the addresses of the wedding ceremony and reception venues?
Our venue's address is 1902 E. Schrock Rd, Waterloo Iowa. You can use this link to view the location. https://www.ahavahvenue.com/
Is there parking available near your wedding venue(s)?
There is parking available at the wedding venue. While you may leave your car overnight, it must be removed by 9AM the next morning.
Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Our ceremony will be outdoors (weather permitting). The reception will be indoors, but we hope you will join us outdoors for some fun drinking games!
Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?
We do not have reserved blocks of rooms, however we have provided many great hotel options under the travel section of our website.
Am I allowed to bring a plus-one?
We are not allowing additional plus-ones to our wedding, as we'd like to keep the guests list just to those who know us well. The name of every guest invited to attend is clearly listed on your invitation and no additional guests can be accommodated
Am I allowed to bring my children?
We love your kids—we really do! But for this one special evening, we'd love for you to enjoy a night off. If you need to bring them, we totally understand, but we highly encourage you to book a babysitter, grab a drink, and dance like nobody’s watching!
What type of food will be served at your wedding?
Enjoy a charcuterie bar during cocktail hour before sitting down to a delicious meal with your choice of entrée and sides. And don’t worry—we’ve got dessert covered too!
Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our apartment, or bring it to the wedding! A wedding card box will be at our reception as well.
What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?
We recommend arriving at the ceremony venue at least 30 minutes ahead of the ceremony start time to ensure you have enough time to walk to the ceremony space and find a seat.
Could you suggest places to eat, drink and see while I'm in town for your wedding?
Check out the "Things to Do" section of our travel page to see some of our favorite spots to eat, drink and explore in our city.
Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?
We hired a professional photographer so you don’t have to work today! Please keep your phones tucked away during the ceremony and important reception moments. But once the dance floor opens—feel free to document all questionable dance moves!
Will there be a bar?
Yes, we’ve thought of everything: food, music, and most importantly, a bar that takes both cash and card.
