Aaron and Ashley first met in College at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs in August 2018. Ashley caught Aaron's eye at a small first week back to school get together. He introduced himself to her and since that day on they have been inseparable.

Every year on their Anniversary, December 27, they go to Zoo Lights at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. In 2022 when they went to celebrate their 4th anniversary, Aaron paused at the look out over Colorado Springs. Ashley who just wanted to pet the Giraffes kept walking. Aaron insisted she just come look at the city and that is when he proposed to Ashley. Ashley of course said YES!

Aaron and Ashley welcomed a handsome baby boy, Maverick James, this past April. They are beyond excited to be able to share this day with him.
