I've only said I love you to two men in my life, Adam Sandler and a guy I met in 2015 at The Garage Bar & Grill who looked like Adam Sandler. KIDDING, well kind of.

Brandon and I went to school together from 2006 to 2011 and never crossed paths or even noticed each other one time, at least to our knowledge anyways. Fast forward four years later to 2015, my girlfriends and I went to the Garage Bar & Grill for a night out because its Bremerton and that’s just what you do being freshly 21 years old lol. While walking into the bar, I saw an old childhood pal there and when I went to say "hi", he just happened to be with Brandon among a few other people. We all introduced ourselves, chatted all night between the two groups and then went home after last call. About 2:30-3:00 am after his friends had hyped him up and told him to "shoot his shot “and I’m sure some liquid courage, I get a Facebook message from Brandon saying, "It was so great to meet you tonight, we should definitely hang out again soon!" Well, me being the SMOOOOOTH, calm, cool and not awkward flirt that I am replied in the best way possible which was a simple "GO SEAHAWKS" followed by a rock on emoji. Classic right? But I had a friend at the time who was interested in him and GIRL CODE, I couldn’t accept his invite lol. Thing’s kind of ended there for our first shot at a long and romantic love story.

Fast forward AGAIN to 2017, a couple of our close friends had been hanging out and our paths crossed once more. Now this time, Brandon’s confidence had been shot from his previous encounter with me and I didn’t blame him one bit. This time, I had to be the one to pursue him and just hope he wouldn’t awkwardly deny me with a local sports cheer and some type of hand gesture emoji. Well...he didn’t! Four years, one apartment, one house purchase, two cats, an engagement and now a wedding later, here we are!

Shout out to the way the universe turns and aligning our paths a couple times for us to get this thing right!
