<p style="text-align: left;">Being from the same town growing up, Aaron and Ashley knew of each other from high school and marching band, but weren't in the same friend groups and didn't socialize much. Aaron graduated from college in 2022, but felt like the Lord was calling him to go back to the University of Alabama to attend grad school, which he began in 2023. In the fall 2023, Ashley was in her last semester of nursing school at Alabama and was involved in college ministry at Calvary Baptist Church. Meanwhile, Aaron recently began getting involved with the same ministry. At the annual fall church retreat, Aaron and Ashley reconnected. Aaron was sitting alone at a table because all his friends were rehearsing for worship band, and Ashley and some friends came and sat at what appeared to be an open table. They began talking, had an enjoyable conversation, and didn't speak again the rest of the trip. About a month later at church, Aaron was talking with his friend Isaac when he noticed Ashley talking with friends after the service, when he said to Isaac Just watch, I'm going to date her. That same day, Aaron reached out to Ashley's friend Caroline to ask if Ashley was dating anyone and eventually got Ashley's number. A couple dates and a LOT of talking later, Aaron asked Ashley to be his girlfriend in December 2023 (after Bama beat Georgia in the SEC Championship, Roll Tide). Just under a year later, Aaron asked Ashley to be his wife! They are so excited to be starting their lives together soon!<br /></p>
