We met while waiting to march in the Manteca Christmas parade. We did not speak to each other again until the start of the following school year when we were put in the same JROTC class. At the time he was not someone to go for as Ashley’s bestie at the time had a thing for him, though he did not feel the same. Finally we realized we really liked each other and started dating and the rest is ancient history.
