What is the dress code?
Formal.
Where to park?
There is plenty of public parking to the left of the Chapel, and the Sugar Wharf is next door.
Where should we stay?
We have provided our guests a lengthy list of accomodation recommendations. Any accomodation in Port Douglas itself is a short walk or taxi ride to the venue.
Are children welcome to attend?
We request that this is an adult-only event, to give everyone the opportunity to enjoy themselves.
Do you have a registry?
We appreciate everyone making the effort and travelling to be a part of our special day. Because so, we have decided to not include a gift registry. If you do wish to gift something to us, we will have a wishing well available for cards at the reception venue.
What will the weather be like?
July is Port Douglas' wedding season for a reason. The weather is perfect, with clear skies and warm weather ranging from 25 - 28 degrees. Our cocktail hour will be outdoors at the Sugar Wharf so that our guests can enjoy some sun and take in our favourite place's beautiful views.
Can I bring a plus 1?
Due to venue sizes and restrictions, we request only those named on the formal invites.
How can I RSVP?
We will send formal invites closer to the date, which will have information on how to RSVP.
Are you having a recovery day?
We definitely are! Keep your eyes peeled on this site for more details to come for our recovery day on July 18th.
Should I hire a car?
Besides the drive from the airport to your hotel (1hr) everything you need is within walking distance of the hotels and accomodation in Port Douglas. However, it's up to you whether you wish to explore outside of the main street. There is plenty to see!
