What should I wear? Is there a dress code?
The dress code for our wedding is formal attire. Think suit and tie or a sports coat and formal or floor-length dress. Basically avoid cocktail and sundresses. We suggest keeping the same attire for the After Party as well, as there is not a coat storage or changing area at the Venue.

What will the weather be like this time of year?
Think "Local Summer". Daily high temperatures during the day should range from 70's-80's and at night should be in the 60's. The Ceremony and Cocktail hour will be he held outside with the Reception and After Party held mainly inside with some outside options. There will be a short 2 minute walk outside at night from the Venue to the After Party. There will be no coat room available for storage.
Where are the Ceremony , Reception, and After Party be taking place?
The Ceremony will be held in the woodland area of the Kylan Barn Venue property. This is a short 2 minute walk from the parking lot and shuttle drop off point. Golf cart shuttle service will be available upon request. The Reception will be held in the main complex at Kylan Barn. The walk to and from the Ceremony and to the After Party is not on a paved area and will have uneven surfaces. Please plan accordingly.
Will the Ceremony, Reception, and After-Party be indoors or outdoors?
The Ceremony and Cocktail Hour will be outside. The Reception and After Party will be mainly inside with some some outside options.
What happens after the ceremony?
After the ceremony, guests can head straight to the cocktail area of Kylan Barn where we will be serving Hors d'Oeuvre and beverages during a cocktail hour.
Are there other wedding events I can attend?
After the Reception on Saturday night there will be an After Party at Oak 54 from 11PM-1AM, which is a 2 minute walk from the venue. On Sunday we invite you to join us for a causal beach day at the 45th Street Beach in Ocean City, MD.
Am I invited to the rehearsal dinner?
Due to the space limitations of our venue, we unfortunately have to limit the rehearsal dinner guest list. We apologize in advance to those who are not included.
How do I get to the wedding venue?
Shuttle service will be provided from the three hotel blocks to the Venue, and from the Venue to the After Party and back to the hotel blocks. Please see the shuttle schedule tab.
What time should I arrive?
Help us get the party started as scheduled! We recommend that you arrive an hour before the start of the ceremony which starts at 4:00PM to make sure everyone is seated on time, but no earlier than 2:45PM. Welcome drinks will be available. Shuttles from the hotel blocks will be leaving the hotels at 2:00PM and 3:00PM.
Where should guests park? Is parking free?
Parking at the Venue is free and there is plenty of spots. However, cars can't be left overnight at the Venue, and will be towed. Please do not drink and drive, and feel free to use our shuttle service which will be provided or use a rideshare service. Uber/Lyft is limited in the area, so we suggest scheduling in advance.
Are kids welcome?
While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
Can I bring a plus one?
Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.
Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?
We have three hotel blocks set up for guests . Please see the Travel tab for the list of accommodations.
When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?
Please RSVP right here on our wedding website before June 30th . Thank you in advance for sending your RSVP.
Are the Ceremony and Reception location wheelchair accessible?
Golf cart shuttle service to the Ceremony to be provided for those who need it upon request. The Reception area is all on one floor without any stairs.
Will there be food and drinks during Cocktail Hour and the After Party
After the wedding ceremony, we will be serving light passed hors d’oeuvres accompanied by an open bar. We invite you to toast to our nuptials with a curated selection of wine, beer and our signature cocktail. During the After Party late night snacks will be supplied along with an optional cash bar.
Will dinner be served at the Reception? What kind of food?
A plated dinner will be provided at the reception. Meal options can be chosen in your RSVP.
Will there be any vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free or special diet options?
There will be a select variety of food available during the Cocktail Hour and Afterparty. There will not be different versions of the same food provided. During the Reception, a plated Gluten Free Vegetarian option is available which can be selected in your RSVP.
Where are you registered?
We are so thankful you will be joining us for this celebration of our love. We have registered at Amazon. A link to our wedding registry can be found in the Registry Tab.
Should I bring a gift to your destination wedding?
If you do choose to browse our wedding registry, any items on the list can be shipped directly to our home address. At the Reception a card box will also be available.
Will transportation be provided between the hotel, ceremony and reception?
A shuttle service is provided from the three hotel blocks to the Ceremony where the Reception is also taking place. After the Reception guests can walk 2 minutes to the After Party, or take the shuttle to the After Party or Hotel Blocks. There will not be a shuttle provided from the Hotel Blocks to the After party, only from the After Party to the three hotel blocks at the end of the night.
Do you have any recommendations for where to eat, points of interest or things to do?
Yes! We recommend visiting the Things to Do Tab of our wedding website, where we’ve compiled all of our favorite local hot spots and fun things to do in the area, including coffee shops, beaches, and restaurants to visit before or after the wedding.
Will there be an open bar?
At the Reception there will be an open bar, but feel free to tip the bar tenders at your discretion. At the After Party there will be an optional cash bar available.
Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?
We love photos! We do ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, we’d like that time to be unplugged. For the rest of the wedding, we encourage guests to post pictures using our wedding hashtag #SheSaidYesToTheTress so we can see them, too! We will have a QR code available to share any photos and videos taken!
