It all started in October 2022. They met at the wedding of two childhood friends. One look from across the room and it was all over. They spent the entire night dancing, talking, and taking pictures at the photo booth. Little did they know, it was just the beginning. The next day, John headed back to Denver and sent a text to Ashley and they have talked every single day since.

In November of 2022, John moved from Denver, Colorado to Springfield, Missouri. A few short days after he moved, Ashley drove down to visit. This is the weekend they officially became boyfriend and girlfriend. They spent the next year taking turns driving back and forth from Kansas City to Springfield. They only missed two weekends seeing each other that entire year.

In October of 2023, John made the move to Kansas City to live with Ashley. They were so excited to finally be able to be with each other for more than just a couple days a week. They started to build their life together in their home.

In August of 2024, John proposed to Ashley. They are beyond excited to celebrate their love with all of their friends and family by their sides.
