How do you summarize and tell a story as unique as the two individuals involved. More than a story of just an initial meeting or date, I think what’s worth sharing is a brief journey of these two. Timing and location have been the challenge and obstacle of this relationship for the last 8 almost 9 years, however it’s those two factors that somehow aligned in the early months of 2013. (Save yourself the math). Ashley was early in her career working for the ALS Association. Ryan had been in eastern Pennsylvania having accepted his first college football coaching job a year earlier. Having connected through text, call, Skype (yes way before FaceTime existed) and still with hesitation Ashley agreed to meet Ryan for dinner. Ryan arrived at Ashley’s home, greeted by her father and nervously shook his hand. Ashley appeared in the front hall shortly there after, which to Ryan felt like an eternity while standing next to Greg. Having made first in person contact, Ashley knew right then her future husband was standing in her home. (Her words). The two headed off on a short drive on their first date to dinner in nearby West Chester. Ashley had picked the restaurant (she makes most of the decisions). Without hesitation, Ashley ordered nachos as an appetizer. The exact gesture that confirmed to Ryan that she was the one. (His words). A night that would lead to many more conversations, dates and dinners.   Fast forward through multiple job relocations, states spanned by multiple time zones, weeks that turned into months where in person visits and seeing each other became minimal. A relationship blossomed, grew, overcame such moments and life events that placed them hand in hand excited and willing to take the next step.  To give some background on what now, almost 9 years has included: 100’s of flights and holidays, birthdays spent apart 11 combined job changes 7 Different states lived in (Just 2 together) 1 Consistent Everlasting LOVE Ashley and Ryan will now take the next step in their journey on Friday, July 1st to begin the next chapter - marriage!

All guests booking flights to our wedding should fly into Philadelphia International Airport (PHL). From there you can take an Uber, Lyft or taxi to your hotel.

From Philadelphia, the jersey shore is only an hour away depending what beach you travel to. Ashley grew up going to Ocean City, NJ which is a great beach town to visit with your family. Hotels are usually limited in each town, especially 4th of July week, so booking a rental far in advance is the usually the best option.
