Will I need a car to get from the ceremony to the reception?

Our celebration will take place at Port 393, where we’ll have the entire venue exclusively to ourselves. Both the ceremony and reception will be held in the same building, so no need to travel between locations. For your convenience, you may leave your car overnight at Port 393 if needed but it will need to be picked up early the next morning. We’ll also be providing shuttles from our hotel room blocks, and we encourage you to make use of this service. If you are staying in an Air BnB this is still available to you just arrive at the hotel during one of the listed pick up times 🚌 Shuttle Schedule: 📍 Pickup (To Ceremony): 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM Shuttle will begin at Holiday Inn Express and make loops between the following hotels: Holiday Inn Express (12381 Felch St) Courtyard by Marriott (121 E 8th St) Tulyp by Hilton (61 E 7th St) 🕒 The first shuttle will depart Holiday Inn Express at 3:00 PM sharp, so please be ready early! (This is the only pickup time from this spot due to the smaller group) 🚌 The shuttle will alternate between Courtyard and Tulyp, with final arrivals at Port 393 by 4:25 PM. Estimated pickup times from hotels (may vary slightly): Courtyard: 3:20 PM, 3:40 PM, 4:00 PM, 4:20 PM Tulyp: 3:35 PM, 4:15 PM 📍 Return (To Hotels): 9:30 PM – 12:30 AM Shuttle service will resume at 9:30 PM at Port 393, making return trips as needed to: Courtyard by Marriott Tulyp by Hilton 🕛 Last shuttle leaves Port 393 at 12:15 AM 🏨 Final drop-offs by 12:30 AM

Did you gift us something from Crate and Barrel?

Thank you again to everyone who showered us with love. We received many gifts from crate and barrel without any cards or way of seeing who gifted it to us. If you gifted us something from them please reach out to Ashley to tell us what you gifted because we want to make sure everyone gets acknowledged!

What do I wear?

We envision a timeless, elegant celebration and would love for you to join us in classic, formal attire. Think sophisticated and beautiful! However, our main wish is for you to feel comfortable and confident, so wear whatever brings out your best and lets you enjoy every moment with us.

Are children invited?

While we love your little ones, we’ve chosen to keep our celebration an adults-only event to create a relaxed, elegant atmosphere for everyone to enjoy. We hope you can join us for a memorable evening, and we appreciate your understanding! (Our maid of honor and kids involved in our bridal party are exceptions)

Welcome Reception?

We’re so excited to welcome so many of you from near and far! To kick off the celebrations, we’re hosting a Welcome Night on Friday evening for our early arrivals. ✨ Event Details ✨ 📍 Location: Boatwerks Waterfront Restaurant 📍 Address: 216 Van Raalte Ave, Holland, MI 49423 ⏰ Time: 6:30 PM 🍸 What to Expect: A relaxed evening by the water with light appetizers, drinks, and great company as we ease into the weekend’s festivities. This night is extra special as we’ll also be celebrating the father of the bride’s 70th birthday! We can’t wait to raise a glass with you and soak in the love, laughter, and excitement ahead. See you there! 💛✨

Cocktail Hour?

Cocktail hour will take place upstairs, in the indoor area just adjacent to the ceremony space. Weather permitting, we’ll also have access to beautiful outdoor areas for everyone to enjoy.

After Party?

We’re still finalizing after-party options in the area and may extend our time at Port 393 for those who want to keep the celebration going. Stay tuned for more information as the date approaches!

Where do I RSVP?

We’ll be using The Knot to share all official wedding details and RSVP information, so please look out for your invitation.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

We’re committed to making sure everyone has a memorable evening, with delicious food and plenty of joy to go around. You’ll be able to note any dietary restrictions when you RSVP, but if you have questions in the meantime, feel free to reach out to either of us directly.

Open bar?

Yes, there will be an open bar! We’re looking forward to celebrating with you, and we simply ask that everyone drinks responsibly. We want each of you to have a safe and wonderful night. TIP THE BARTENDERS!

Is there parking at the venue?

Port 393 has a parking lot. It is small but it is tucked in a residential spot so from what we have been told parking shouldn't be an issue.

Do I get a plus one?

To keep our wedding intimate, we’re focusing on inviting those closest to us. If a plus-one is included on your invitation, it will be noted; otherwise, each invitation will specify those invited from your household. If you have any questions about this, don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly.

How does the shuttle work?

✨ Wedding Shuttle Details ✨ To ensure a seamless and stress-free evening, we have arranged transportation with Magic Shuttle Bus for our guests. Arrival Shuttle Schedule 🚌 Pickup Location: Courtyard by Marriott ⏰ First Departure: 3:00 PM (prompt) 🛑 Destination: Port 393 The shuttle will make multiple trips as needed, alternating between the Courtyard by Marriott and Tulyp Hotel to accommodate all guests. Estimated departure times: Courtyard: 3:00 PM, 3:30 PM, 4:00 PM Tulyp: 3:15 PM, 3:45 PM, 4:15 PM All guests will arrive at Port 393 by 4:25 PM. 🚍 Shuttle Break The shuttle will not be on-site during the event. Return Shuttle Schedule 🚌 First Pickup from Port 393: 9:30 PM 🛑 Drop-off Locations: Courtyard by Marriott & Tulyp Hotel The shuttle will run as needed to ensure all guests return safely. Final departure from Port 393: 12:15 AM Final drop-off at hotels: No later than 12:30 AM 🚭 Please note: Smoking and vaping are not permitted on the shuttle.

What is an unplugged ceremony?

We kindly ask that you join us fully in the moment by keeping phones and cameras away during our ceremony. We have a professional photographer capturing every detail, so please sit back, relax, and be present with us as we say “I do.” Afterward, feel free to snap and share all you like! Thank you for helping us create a truly memorable experience.
