Like many others our story began with swiping right. We met online through Bumble. We talked for a short time before we decided to meet in person. We got together after work one evening for coffee and ended up closing the shop down. Our first date went really well. Within the next two weeks we saw each other another 5 times. We became official just before Chris left for Florida to celebrate a launch. A few months later we took our first vacation to South Carolina and Georgia together. That fall Ashley flew out to Massachusetts for Thanksgiving and met all of Chris' family. A couple months later Covid-19 hit and we took our relationship to a different level. We basically were with each other and only each other for the entire pandemic. Outside work we were together for everything. In June of 2021 Chris bought his first home and we moved in together, with our two dogs Kingsley and Winston. We spent most of the rest of the pandemic learning how to be homeowners, and remodeling parts of the home. Just under one year from moving in together Chris proposed on May 22, 2021.
