Josh and Ashley met each other the way may couples do in this modern age - online. They matched and chatted for a bit before Ashley left town for a vacation with her family, only for her to forget that Josh existed while she was at the beach. (PS - Josh still won't let Ashley live it down that she ghosted him once upon a time.)

Luckily, a few months later, they matched again on Bumble, and this time Ashley followed though on making plans for a coffee date with Josh. Of course he had to remind her they had matched once before.

Their first meeting was a cool, rainy afternoon in October, and Ashley, true to form, forgot a jacket. Even though it was their first meeting, Josh chivalrously loaned her his jacket, on the condition they could see each other again. Feeling confident that chivalry had not completely died in the world, Ashley agreed. Taking a chance on losing your jacket to a stranger who had ghosted you once already was a bold move.

From there, they got to know each other over the course of nearly a year before officially becoming a couple. After a year of being "official," Josh surprised Ashley by proposing at a July 4th celebration as they watched fireworks from the back of his Ford Ranger.

Ashley and Josh are looking forward to their marriage and living life together.
