Ashley and Zach never imagined they would meet the love of their life online, but sometimes love arrives in unexpected places. On April 26th, Zach sent a simple, slightly ridiculous text: “Are you alive?” after casually chatting, and having a short break in the conversation, while Ashley was on vacation. It was his way of checking in and saying I want to know you. Ashley laughed, replied, and something in her heart leaned forward. Their first date was May 3rd at Embers. Something clicked, comfortable, honest, and easy. Ashley and Zach spent much of their time together and by June 24th, they were officially together. By August, they were falling in love. Now, not long from “Are you alive?” to “I do,” Ashley’s so glad she took the leap, because Zach wasn’t just a message in a sea of strangers. He was the beginning of everything real. And the best is yet to come.
