We are only able to accommodate those guests formally specified on your invitation or when you RSVP. If you received a plus one, your envelope will be addressed with "your name and guest," and it will be indicated when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Children are welcome to attend if they are specified on your invitation or included when you RSVP. Please be advised that beginning around 9:30 PM, the DJ will transition to a playlist containing more explicit content. We kindly encourage you to plan accordingly with this in mind.

While we are planning a formal wedding, please wear attire that you will be most confident and comfortable in for the day! The most important thing to us is your presence, and we are excited to celebrate with you on our big day!

The reception hall will open, and cocktail hour will begin, at 4:00 PM. There will be light snacks available during this time.

Here are some fun ways to pass the time between the ceremony and the reception:

- Enjoy a leisurely walk around Highland Square

- Explore the beauty of Silver Lake Park

- Check out one of the nearby local bars like Ethel's, Railshake, Unwind, Flanagan's, or Broadway

- Grab a sweet treat from the Sweet Spot Candy Store

We will offer a limited open bar for a portion of the evening. During this time, the drinks are on us, but the hangover is on you! We do ask that you drink responsibly and safely.

The reception will end at 12:00 AM.

There are multiple hotels around the Highland area. Some locations include the Holiday Inn Express in Troy and Townplace Suites by Marriott in Edwardsville. There are also a variety of Air BnBs near Highland.
