Ashley and Cord first met while working together at VCA Avondale Animal Hospital—Ashley as a Veterinary Assistant and Cord as the Pet Resort Manager. What started as a friendship between coworkers soon blossomed into something more.

On Valentine’s Day in 2018, Cord asked Ashley out, and their first date took them to Applebee’s for dinner, followed by a night of karaoke at AJ’s. That night sparked something special, and it didn’t take long for them to fall in love.

In August 2019, they took a big step forward and moved into their first home together. Life continued to unfold beautifully—they eventually sold that home and settled into a new one in August 2024. A few months later, in December 2024, Cord popped the question, and Ashley said yes!

Due to Ashley’s mother’s health, they will be holding a small, intimate ceremony. A larger celebration is planned for March 2026, where they look forward to sharing the joy of their love with family and friends.
