You would hope that sparks fly when you meet the love of your life. For us, it was fireworks.

We met on July 4, 2009, and connected immediately. A weekend that included “Are You Afraid of the Dark?”, Lake Calhoun, and a Packers T-shirt led us to rooftop fireworks. The perfect metaphor: an event we didn't plan on, a connection we didn't expect. Calming, yet intense. Admirable and magnificent. And just like that great spectacle, our connection seemed to end too soon.

Life took us on separate journeys, but whenever we crossed paths over the years, there was always a spark.

In October 2023, when Ashley walked into Ullsperger Brewing, that spark started a slow burn that, by January, became the greatest fireworks show the world has ever known - Our love. We are grateful for and mesmerized by each other every day. Now, for one special day, we will bring everyone we know together to witness our spectacle.

A love that will last a lifetime.
