So picture this: "It was a Dark and Stormy night on Hinge"; December 4th 2020 to be exact. A year prior on a whim and after a long prayer, I created a list of all of the things I wanted in a relationship. Little did I know that same year the perfect man was on a 2,345 mile trek across the country for a new job, and unbeknownst to the both of us...to find me. We both weren't having much luck in the dating department, and after almost two years here in city, the social world as we knew it had officially ended and my dream guy was set to leave for Texas at the start of the next year. Homemade chocolate ice cream, shared food, and a similar love of the best Disney classics put an end to all of that though after our first date at Founding Farmers. What he thought might end in a ghost :p actually blossomed into endless movie marathons, memories and adventures we'll never forget, and the ultimate confirmation that true love is real. We'd talked about spending our lives together, but his personal rule was to spend a solid year with someone special before making any definite decisions about the future. My inability to take that statement literally resulted in the surprise you see here! On our one year anniversary December 4th, 2021, He asked me to Marry him in the Blue Ridge Mountains on an Overlook in Raven's Roost and with no hesitation,I said YES!It's funny how things like that work; prayers always seem to be answered in ways we can never imagine. But here we are, engaged and beyond excited to start our lives together as hubs and wife. We can't wait to celebrate with the best people we know so very soon! Every time we meet we pick up exactly where we left of and it feels like no time has past since we last saw each other. Kyle is the best cheerleader you could ask for, and will hype up anything you have your heart set on.

"Marebear", Bestie.  My Sirius Black.  As best friend's go, she's as good as they get. She's The one who lives alllll the way in Cali, but couldn't be closer to my heart. The oldest sibling and my big brother who has one of the kindest hearts. You can tell him anything and he will fill you full of love. He cares so deeply about everyone around him and wants everyone to have a good time. He will go out of his way to protect all of his family.

My third brother (in-law) and the exact person you want marrying your sister. He is so wonderful and close with the family that I consider him another brother. One of the smartest people you will ever get to know and is curious about everything. Just being in the room with Zach makes you smile and your heart light up.

My very best, oldest friend. The one person that I have kept in contact with non-stop over the years. We live on opposite sides of the country but still carve out plenty of time to talk and play games together. He is the person I laugh the most with and I truly love his friendship. The time I get to spend with him is always cherished.

She's the one who's my soror and ultimate confidante. You'll catch her at the wedding with the soulful, artsy vibe making sure the tiniest of details are just right.

"Bridgette", Fellow consul, Hufflepuff and Glam Guru Galore. I could not say i do without this girl. Yall See me looking stunning in all these pics on this website? Yeah that's all her. No matter the task, she always shows up. You'll catch her at the wedding making sure i look flawless and hyping me up as only the best kind of girl's girl can. Don't mind our fake British accents.. they're non negotiable.
