Brianna DeSouza
Brianna DeSouza - Maid of Honor
Ashley and Brianna first met in 2008 while living in Boca Raton and working at a college bar called Saba Lounge. Though their first impressions of each other were far from love at first sight—in fact, they couldn’t stand each other—it didn’t take long for them to realize they were basically the same person. From that moment, their bond only grew stronger. Life took them in different directions for a while, with Brianna moving to Orlando and Ashley staying in Boca until 2012. But when Ashley moved to Orlando in 2013, their friendship deepened even more. They’ve weathered life’s toughest storms together—Ashley losing her mother in 2014, and Brianna losing her father in 2016—supporting each other through the darkest moments with unwavering love. Over the years, they’ve shared countless memories—partying, crying, laughing, and everything in between. They’ve traveled together, from the bright lights of Nashville to an unforgettable hiking trip in the stunning red rocks of Sedona, Arizona. Their friendship is one of strength, resilience, and shared passions—including their latest obsession: being workout buddies and hitting Pilates classes together. Brianna isn’t just a best friend—she’s a sister in every way that matters. Ashley couldn’t imagine this day without her by her side.
Owen Barton
Owen Barton - Best Man
Gabe and Owen’s legendary bromance began back in 2011 at Saint Vincent College, sparked by a simple quote from Caddyshack. That moment of shared humor quickly unveiled a deeper connection—namely, a mutual love for 90s Disney classics like The Mighty Ducks and Heavyweights. What started as a few laughs over favorite movies soon grew into a deep, lasting friendship that’s spanned over 14 unforgettable years. Their bond has taken them from summer getaways in Ocean City Maryland, to annual visits between Toledo and Orlando. They’ve stood shoulder-to-shoulder at World Cup qualifiers and Orlando City SC matches, screamed lyrics at concerts such as Taking Back Sunday, Fall Out Boy, Yellowcard, and My Chemical Romance, and hit the links for golf weekends and the sands of Siesta Key—always with a stop at Daiquiri Deck. And let’s not even try to count the number of breakfast diners they’ve hit along the way. Through it all, one thing has remained constant: Owen has always shown up. He’s been a steady, loyal presence in Gabe’s life—the kind of friend you know you can count on, no matter what. Earlier this year, Gabe had the honor of officiating Owen’s wedding. Now, as Gabe prepares for his own big day, he can’t imagine standing up there without Owen by his side.
