Crag Rat Hut (approx. 10min from Hood River & 20min from White Salmon), 960 Crag Rat Rd, Hood River, OR 97031. Crag Rat Hut is located on the east side of the Hood River and styled like a mountain lodge. The Hut is perched on a hill in a rural setting overlooking the surrounding valley and offering a beautiful showcase of Mt. Hood & Mt. Adams, orchards, farmlands, forests, and the scenic Gorge. It’s a picturesque location that you and your guests will love, but also just a quick 10 minutes from downtown Hood River.

Dressy casual. Think of the dress code as attire that is dressier than what you would wear to work, but not as formal as what you would wear to black-tie or formal events.

There is an abundance of parking at the venue. However, we still highly encourage carpooling and designating a driver. If you must leave your vehicle and taxi or carpool home with someone else, you have until 10am the next morning (7/21) to pick up your vehicle.

We're encouraging a parents night out! Please reach out to us if you are unable to find accommodation or child care for your kid(s).

There is no Uber or Lyft in Hood River. We encourage people to use the shuttle we have organized to get to and from the venue, carpooling, and designating a driver. Visit our travel tab for information on the wedding shuttle.

The closest airport to our venue is PDX International Airport (approx. 50min from Hood River & 1hr from our venue). For lodging we have listed a few hotels in Hood River & White Salmon on our travel tab. We suggest finding an AirBnB or Vrbo for larger groups.

The Crag Rats were formed in 1926 and are a charter and current member of the Mountain Rescue Association. The Crag Rats are an all volunteer, non-profit organization based out of Hood River, Oregon covering Mt. Hood and the Columbia Gorge. The Crag Rat Hut is the official club house of the Crag Rats, America’s oldest mountain rescue organization.
