Where it all began!! Cole and Ashley met during welcome week, on Cole's second night on campus! He showed up to her birthday party with a mutual friend and the rest is history!

Cole and Ashley went on their first trip together - a GRID Alternatives spring break trip to San Diego, California.

Cole and Ashley embarked on their first camping trip together! They visited the Upper Peninsula, stopping by at Ashley's family property in Brimley, and then road-tripped south to Sleeping Bear Dunes. This was the first of many camping trips that Ashley and Cole have enjoyed together over the past 6 years.

The start of Year 2 together at U of M! A year full of football games, Grey's Anatomy nights, and Rick's Thursdays.

For spring break, Ashley and Cole headed to Gatlinburg, Tennessee. They had an eventful trip - tent camping while a tornado passed through just miles away, doing a treacherous hike through the Smokey Mountains, and arriving home to the announcement of the COVID-19 outbreak. This began a challenging period during which Ashley and Cole would not be able to see each other.

Ashley graduated with her Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science in May 2020, in the midst of the COVID lockdown. She was able to get together with Cole that August to snap some grad photos!

Cole and Ashley were able to get away in the midst of COVID for a camping trip in Oscoda. A great way to close out the summer before Cole began his last year at U of M and Ashley began her job working for MDHHS.

During Cole's final semester at U of M, Ashley would often work remotely from Cole's apartment in Ann Arbor. Their good friends, Brendan and Sharanya, became their "COVID-bubble," spending lots of time together and making the most of the year!

Following a primarily remote school-year, Cole celebrated his graduation in May 2021. He graduated with his bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering!

Cole completed his first full Ironman in Iowa! This was a huge accomplishment and Cole was thrilled to be cheered on by his family and Ashley's.

Cole proposed to Ashley during a walk in the Arb, a nature area in Ann Arbor. The U of M campus was the perfect backdrop for this memorable evening! Cole arranged to have close friends and family meet up for a night of celebration!

Closing out an exciting year, Ashley earned her 4th degree black belt in tae kwon do, becoming Master Ashley Mark! She was so happy to be supported by her family and Cole's on this exciting day!

In 2024, Ashley and Cole began planning their special day! They have taken their time to put together a celebration that will hopefully scream "Ashley and Cole." They are so excited to share this exciting time in their lives with you!!
