Evan and Ashley met at the University of Arizona. They were both involved in the undergraduate choir and vocal jazz ensemble. The smaller jazz group allowed them to get to know one another, and Evan was enchanted by Ashley's quick-to-laugh personality and took every opportunity to gain her attention. Their choir director saw romance blooming each time Ashley playfully told Evan to "shut up". Nine years later, Ashley still enchants Evan with her laughter, and Evan shows no signs of shutting up.
