Our Story

“Hey Stranger”

Ronnie and I like to joke that our story started in 7th grade — mostly because he insists we used to “talk” back then. I still remind him that we didn’t even go to the same school, but he’s fully committed to the legend. The truth is, we grew up with the same friends and floated around the same circles, somehow managing to miss each other every single time. We even graduated the same year, living these parallel lives without ever really crossing paths. Then, twenty‑five years later, life finally decided it was time. When we reconnected, it felt strangely familiar, like picking up a conversation we didn’t realize we’d started decades ago. There was an ease between us — the kind that makes you wonder how you didn’t notice each other sooner. Sparks flew, laughter came naturally, and Ronnie quickly took our reunion as “proof” that he’d been right about us all along. Now we look back at all those near‑misses with a smile, because it turns out the timing couldn’t have been more perfect. After years of unknowingly circling each other, we found our way together exactly when we were meant to. What began with a playful debate about 7th grade has grown into a love that feels steady, tender, and beautifully right — the kind of love that makes you grateful for every twist of the past, because each one led us home to each other.
