Its lake and fountain have been welcoming visitors as they cross from Iowa into Nebraska since the early 1990s, along with shorefront piers and extensive walking trails. While these popular features remain in place, The RiverFront redesign also adds exciting amenities such as a Skate Ribbon to accommodate ice skating in the winter and roller skating when the weather turns warm, along with a lakeside amphitheater, bocce courts and the iconic Farnam Pier, which will assuredly become a favorite destination.

The Mormon Trail Center is now open to the public daily from 11am-5pm.

The Museum depicts the 1846 to 1860 migration of 90,000 pioneers to the Rocky Mountains. Displays include a full-size log cabin, covered wagon, oxen, and handcart.

This stunning, 3,000-foot long walkway stretches across the Missouri River, giving pedestrians a spectacular view of Omaha’s skyline and an almost airborne experience. On the Nebraska side, enjoy the 3-acre Omaha Plaza with an interactive water jet fountain, and access to the National Park Service Visitors Center. The bridge is connected to more than 150 miles of nature trails – visitors love to bike and walk on Bob. Enjoy live music in the Plaza area on Fridays during the summer.
