While we truly adore your children, after careful consideration, we have decided to host an adults-only wedding/reception, with the exception of nieces and nephews. We kindly request that you make necessary arrangements in advance, allowing you to fully enjoy the evening with us and have a well-deserved night off. Your understanding and support mean a lot to us as we celebrate this special occasion.

For our wedding day, we have selected a dress code that falls within the realms of Dressy Casual, Cocktail, and/or Semi-Formal attire. Please do not wear jeans/t-shirts or wearing all/mostly white attire.

We are delighted to announce that our entire wedding day will take place within the Norfolk Botanical Gardens. This means that the Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, and Reception will all be held on the garden grounds, eliminating the need for guests to travel between venues. The Ceremony and Cocktail Hour will be held outdoors, allowing everyone to bask in the natural beauty of the surroundings. Following that, our Reception will take place indoors, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for all attendees.

For the convenience of our guests who may be unable to walk to our Ceremony site in the Renaissance Court, we will have garden trams readily available. These trams are ADA accessible and will be operating to transport guests to and from the Ceremony site. Departures will occur every 15 minutes starting after 5 PM, with the first tram departing at 5:15 PM, followed by 5:30 PM, and the final departure at 5:45 PM. Return trips will be provided as needed to accommodate our guests' schedules.

To ensure a smooth and timely start to our ceremony, we kindly request that you plan to arrive around 5:30 PM. This will allow ample time for you to be seated or be present on-site before our ceremony commences promptly at 6 PM. Your punctual arrival will be greatly appreciated.

Yes! Ample parking facilities are available at the Norfolk Botanical Gardens for your convenience. When you arrive, kindly inform the attendant at the gate that you are here for the Anderson Wedding, and they will grant you access without requiring admission fees. This ensures a hassle-free parking experience for our guests.

Food will be served buffet style and will include: Appetizers - Caprese Skewers, Signature Macaroni & Cheese, & Bacon Wrapped Scallops Main Course - Poached Pear Salad, Baked Yeast Rolls, Mahi, Baked Ziti, Roasted Red Potatoes, & Chilled Vegetable Pasta Salad

For those traveling by air to attend our wedding, we highly recommend Norfolk International Airport as the nearest and most convenient option. Situated just a short drive away from the Norfolk Botanical Gardens, this airport ensures easy accessibility for our guests.
