Ty and Ashley’s story began in November of 2019, when they were introduced through mutual connections in 4-H. In October of 2020 their friendship blossomed into a love built on patience, laughter, and the kind of understanding that only comes once in a lifetime.After graduating high school in 2021, Ty from Warwick and Ashley from Manheim Central, the two quickly learned the meaning of sacrifice and dedication. Ashley moved to Penn State Berks, and week after week they each drove an hour just to be together. Later, when Ashley transferred to Penn State’s main campus in State College, the miles stretched even farther. Two hours apart, yet never truly distant, they proved that love doesn’t just survive distance, it grows stronger through it.What makes their story so special isn’t just the miles they’ve traveled, but the way they’ve cared for each other along the way. Ty has always been Ashley’s steady hand, loving her, protecting her, and accepting her wholeheartedly for exactly who she is. Ashley has been Ty’s safe place, listening with patience, understanding him in ways no one else can, and walking beside him through every high and low.Together, they share a passion for farming, but more than that, they share a passion for life built on love, trust, and unwavering devotion. Their story is one of two hearts choosing each other, day after day, no matter the distance or the challenges. And now, they can’t wait to begin the next chapter, side by side, forever.

Meet Lauren, Ashley’s maid of honor, emotional support shopping buddy, and the only person who truly understands the spiritual importance of a Chick-fil-A run or a well-timed Starbucks detour. Their friendship didn’t begin in some predictable way, it started through two unsuspecting fiancés, brought together by chance (and Kreiders). What began as casual couple hangouts quickly evolved into something much deeper: a ride-or-die bond built on laughter, loyalty, and the occasional emergency TJ Maxx trip.

Together, they’ve dragged their boys on more spontaneous adventures than they signed up for. From trying new restaurants and losing track of time, to mini golf tournaments with way too much competitive energy (where Lauren ends up in the creek). They’re always down for a quick grocery run that turns into a full-blown outing, or a “just browsing” trip to the pet store, which, let’s be honest, usually ends with Lauren bringing home yet another fish (RIP to the ones who didn’t make it).

Her loyalty is unwavering, her humor is healing, and her friendship is rare, the kind you don’t just stumble into, the kind that sticks. As maid of honor, Lauren isn’t just here for the dress fittings or the toast, she’s here because she’s been there for everything. The laughter, the tears, the random Tuesday night vent sessions, all of it.

Today, she stands beside Ashley not just as a best friend, but as the sister she got to choose, and the only person who can convince her to leave the house in under ten minutes... if there’s a Chick-Fil-A sweet tea involved.

Meet Reba, Ashley's partner-in-crime, co-conspirator, and fellow dog mom. Their journey began two years ago as coworkers, but it didn't take long for their friendship to evolve into something much more significant. From sharing office gossip to sharing a couch, they've become inseparable. Their 'recon missions' often involve scouting out the best downtown dinner spots, where they enjoy people-watching and critiquing the local fashion choices. Together, they've navigated the highs and lows of life, always with laughter and a shared love for their furry companions. Reba's unwavering support and infectious energy have made her an indispensable part of Ashley's life, and she's here to stand by her side as a bridesmaid and cherished friend.

Meet Bethanie, Ashley’s cousin, long-distance partner-in-fun, and the undisputed queen of turning every reunion into a mini holiday. Because life kept Bethanie on the move, their time together was limited, which only meant they crammed an entire childhood’s worth of laughter, chaos, and inside jokes into every visit. Holidays were their specialty: cracking jokes at the dinner table, dominating any holiday game thrown their way, and basically turning family gatherings into a two-person comedy show. And then came the legendary adventures. Like trick-or-treating across the Air Force base in Wyoming at full sprint, fully committed to the art of candy collecting. Or the iconic “fine dining” experience at the Tivoli Tavern, where they acted like VIPs long before they knew what VIP even meant. No matter how far apart life took them, Bethanie always brought the holiday cheer, joy, comfort, and that spark that makes even the simplest moments feel like their own special tradition. She’s the cousin who turns memories into stories, stories into laughter, and laughter into the kind of bond that distance can’t touch. Having Bethanie as a bridesmaid is Ashley’s way of celebrating a lifetime of reunions, holidays, and adventures, and the cousin who made every single one brighter.

Meet Mattie Jane, Ashley’s newest partner-in-adventure, professional “let’s go look at this booth” buddy, and the friend who fit right into the group from day one. Their friendship sparked on a trip to Louisville with their guys, who are friends and coworkers, and it turned into one of those weekends you still laugh about long after it’s over. While the boys happily disappeared into all things tractors at the National Farm Machinery Show, Ashley and Mattie Jane took full advantage of the real highlight: the shopping. They wandered through every vendor, found all the fun booths, and fueled themselves with good food and even better conversation. And yes, they still made time to enjoy the big, loud, heart-thumping tractor pulls together, because you can’t go to Louisville and skip that part. Between the laughs, the exploring, and the instant “this is my kinda person” vibe, Mattie Jane quickly became someone Ashley knew would be around for the long haul. Having her as a bridesmaid is just the beginning of many more adventures, and probably many more trips where the boys chase tractors and the girls chase the best shopping.

Meet Hailey, Ashley’s high-school partner-in-chaos, FFA adventure buddy, and the girl who can turn a simple Chick-fil-A run into a core memory. Even though they were a couple grades apart, that never slowed them down. Their friendship really found its groove somewhere between FFA trips, long bus rides filled with too much laughing and not enough sleeping, and weekends spent hanging out at tractor pulls like it was the social event of the year. Over time, their “quick” Chick-fil-A stops became a full-blown tradition, the kind where you linger in the parking lot for an hour because the conversation’s too good to end. Whether they were traveling with FFA, sitting on the sidelines at tractors pulls, or ordering their usual waffle fry fix, they somehow always made the most ordinary days feel like something special.
Hailey brings humor, honesty, and that ride-or-die energy that makes her feel more like family than a friend. Ashley couldn’t imagine the celebration without her, and she’s thrilled to have her standing beside her as a bridesmaid.

Now, let’s take a moment to honor someone very special who couldn’t be with us on our special day, but is definitely here in spirit. Pebbles, the Dog of Honor. While she won’t be walking down the aisle or trying to catch the bouquet (let's be real, she’d probably eat it), Pebbles has been Ashley's unwavering sidekick through thick and thin. She’s the one who’s always ready with a slobbery kiss, an endless supply of love, and occasionally a chewed-up pair of pants just to keep things interesting. Though she’s not physically with us, her presence is felt in every wag of her tail, every joyful bark, and every adorable photo Ashley keeps close. So let’s raise a toast to Pebbles, the true queen of the castle, who may not be at the wedding in person, but is always right there in our hearts!
