Welcome to our wedding website! We are so excited you are here and can't wait to celebrate our special day with you. Don't forget to RSVP by June 14th :)
Ashley and Eric first crossed paths on a summer night in June 2015 at Allegheny College. Ashley was ready for a night out on the town, while Eric had planned an evening in with his longtime Saegertown crew.
Fate had other plans. As Ashley strolled down Park Ave, she heard “Sweet Caroline” pouring out of an off-campus house. This caught her attention, so naturally, she walked right up to the house and, true to her New England roots, shouted, “Let’s go Sox!” at the chorus. Out of the group of guys at the house, one voice rose above the rest to join her. That, of course, was Eric.
The two spent the night dancing and singing, though in the haze of the evening, names and phone numbers were never exchanged. Over the following weeks, they kept hoping to bump into each other through mutual friends, each secretly hoping to reconnect.
A month later, Eric decided not to leave it up to chance any longer. After asking around about the "mystery girl” he finally had what he needed: her name. That night, he messaged Ashley on Facebook, and the rest is history.
Two months later, Eric moved into a house just two doors down from Ashley’s, and they’ve been nearly inseparable ever since, apart from a brief long-distance stretch in 2017 when Ashley moved to Washington, DC. Eric joined her a year and a half later and they made the most of city life.
Nearly 11 years after that night they first met, Ashley and Eric are still singing and dancing the night away together. Their years together have been filled with adventures near and far, from New Orleans and Los Angeles to Punta Cana and Thailand. In 2021, they adopted their mini goldendoodle, Freddie, who quickly became the center of their world. He even inspired their move to Huntingtown, MD, where they now call home.
On August 24, 2025, Eric surprised Ashley with a beautiful proposal at Brant Point Lighthouse on Nantucket.
