So what do you do when you're on a proper holiday or vacation (to our American fans) in a foreign country?? Well you see all the fantastic and historic sites and join a dating app, naturally! Well, at least, that's what Ashley did. After being on the site, Coffee Meets Bagel, for nearly a week she came across Nathan's profile and his tagline was what caught her attention, "The kids call me a giant". For those that do not know Nathan is a Nursery School teacher so, of course, he's massive compared to all of them. They finally start chit chatting back and forth and without ever meeting in person until Ashley flew back to the States to get on with her normal, everyday life. 2 weeks after that, Nathan, wooed by Ashley's grace and charm, bought a ticket to come to the states just 2 months later. The day finally arrived, August 17, 2017. Nathan arrived in Orlando, Florida that evening and needless to say the rest is history!!! Ashley ended up changing jobs and careers, moved to Atlanta and ended up falling more in love with her British Beau (we'll spare you all the cute romantic deets). After realizing that they couldn't and didn't want to live without each other Nathan dropped onto a knee, in front of the most perfect and gorgeous Christmas tree on December 26, 2018 and asked Ashley to marry him! It was beautiful, it was romantic and above all else, absolutely perfect ❤. After many many changes between the States and the UK, canceling one wedding and planning the other in less that 5 months the day is finally here only after nearly 2 years after the original date! And that's it. Most of you know the details of how everything came to be. And for those of you that don't, well I'm sure you'll hear the stories throughout wedding day and weekend.
