Ashley and Daniel met in their hometown Wauconda while Ashley stopped by Dan's house for a bonfire. They started dating in the summer of 2014 and have since enjoyed numerous moments together like prom, high school graduation, college graduation, buying a house, and adopting the cutest husky, named Rip.

In November 2023, Daniel proposed to Ashley while setting up their Christmas tree.

Back in 2014, Daniel asked Ashley to be his girlfriend while walking around the lakeside of Lake Geneva. Ever since, Lake Geneva has held a special place in their hearts. They both knew Geneva National was the perfect place to celebrate their love with family and friends.
