Our Wedding

Our Story

We went to Middle and High School together only knowing of each other and passing in the halls, but never officially met. We finally met in High School as a Sophomore and a Junior November of 2013 through mutual friends. It only took two weeks of talking and on December 1, 2013, our story began. Since then we've grown as individuals and as a couple. We've been through it all together from attending homecomings, all 4 proms, getting our drivers licenses, graduating High School, 10 years of birthdays and holidays, traveling, becoming fur parents, buying a house and now engaged planning our wedding! At only 15 and 16 years old we had no idea we'd be here today, as HIGH SCHOOL SWEETHEARTS, and we are so excited to continue our journey in life together as Husband and Wife! We can't wait to see what else our future holds.

What Should I Wear? Is there a Dress Code?

We'd love to see our family and friends get fancy with us! We are requesting formal attire for our most special night. The choices are very similar to black tie attire, such as: a floor-length dress, a fancy cocktail dress, or a dressy pantsuit. Please no jeans.

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Yes, Please see the Hotel Accommodations & Details Page.

are kids welcome?

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

The ceremony and reception will both take place at The Grand. No need to travel as all of our wedding festivities take place in one location.

is the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?

Yes, both locations and cocktail hour are wheelchair accessible.

will transportation be provided to and from the hotel?

Yes, Shuttles will run to and from the Best Western Plus, which is listed under the Details & Hotel Accommodations page. Only guests who have rooms at the Best Western Plus will be provided this accommodation. Shuttles to be announced and will be conveyed in the hotel lobby.

Where should guest park? is parking free?

Can I bring a date?

Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outside?

We are hoping for our ceremony to be outdoors if weather permits. If weather does not permit, we will be happily married indoors. The reception will be held indoors.

Can I take and post photos of the wedding on social media?

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This just means we are asking that all phones and devices to be put away and on silent during the ceremony. We have hired professionals to capture this moment in our lives and we would hate to have a phone/device blocking this moment for our professionals to capture. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos as you want!

Will there be an open bar?

Absolutely! Come ready to party with us! (But please drink responsibly).

Food Allergies/Sensitivity

As the bride has many food allergies & sensitivities herself, it was made a point to find the perfect venue to accommodate all food allergies. The Grand was the perfect fit. There will be a waiter/waitress for each table. Please let your waiter/waitress know of any food allergies, for example: gluten, dairy, seafood, etc., and they will accommodate to your meal choice.

What are the Covid protocols?

We are not requiring masks, negative COVID tests, or vaccinations in order to attend our wedding. We want to celebrate with whoever is comfortable with coming! If a mask makes you feel more comfortable attending, you are more than welcome to wear one but if not, no masks no problem!

When is the rsvp deadline?

Please kindly respond by March 29, 2024.

what should I do if I can't make it?

You will be missed! If you cannot make it to our wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP so we can plan accordingly.
