Our first interaction was very spontaneous. Though we attended the same school for a few years, we never crossed paths there. It wasn’t until we connected on social media that I realized—or assumed—he must’ve gone to the same school as me. I had always been enrolled in the North Smithfield schools but Brandon had gone through several different schools in Rhode Island due to changes with his home. In perfect time, we were able to find each other during his short time in North Smithfield. Just two weeks after we met, he had to move again. We agreed to keep talking and began to date just over a month after meeting. Over the years, we made it a priority to focus on each other which made our bond stronger.
