Our ceremony will be outdoors and held at the Canmore Ranch (104 Bow Valley Trail, Canmore AB T1W 3B7). Our reception will be indoors at the Cornerstone Theatre (125 Kananaskis Way, Canmore AB T1W 2X2).
What time should I be there and how long is the wedding?
The outdoor ceremony starts at 1PM, please try to arrive at least 15 minutes prior if possible. There will be a short break between the end of the ceremony and the reception - we encourage you to enjoy the scenery, take pictures and explore downtown Canmore during this time! Cocktail hour and the reception will begin at the Cornerstone Theatre at 5PM. Appetizers will be offered during cocktail hour. Our live band will be playing at 8:30PM and end their final set at 12:30AM with last call at 1:30AM.
Is there a way for me to get between the ceremony and reception?
Yes! There are a few ways to get from the ceremony to the reception.
Shuttles: We will be having a shuttle taking people from the Cornerstone Theatre to the ranch for the ceremony starting at 12:15PM. Shuttles will be running every 10 minutes until the ceremony starts at 1PM. The shuttle will then take guests from the ranch back to the theatre after the ceremony starting at 2:15PM until 3PM.
Personal Vehicles: There is plenty of parking at the Cornerstone Theatre for those with personal vehicles. Unfortunately, parking is very limited at the Canmore Ranch and will be reserved for vendors and VIP.
Walking: There is about a 20-minute walk between the theatre and ceremony that is very nice for those who want to enjoy Canmore's scenery. It is paved almost entirely with the exception of the last 500 feet to the ceremony grounds which is dirt road.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Fingers-crossed the weather stays sunny and dry for our outdoor ceremony BUT in the event there is rain or other inclement weather our ceremony will be moved to the same location as the reception (The Cornerstone Theatre).
Can I bring children?
Well-behaved children will be allowed but we do ask that any noisy toys and electronics (including tablets, phones, music devices) please be left behind. Please include any additional guests in your RSVP so we can accommodate them appropriately.
What if I have a dietary restriction?
We will be having a buffet with an assortment of foods suitable for vegetarian, vegan and pescatarian diets. If there are any allergies or other restrictions we should be aware of please include this in your RSVP so we can prepare a meal for you in accordance.
