Our Wedding

Our journey began in 2021 when we connected on Hinge, not knowing that our first message would turn into something truly special. We met in person a few weeks later at Good Company in Appleton, and from that moment, we could tell we had something special. We became officially boyfriend and girlfriend April 16th, 2021. As we got to know each other, it quickly became clear that we shared a sense of humor that could make us laugh for hours. We bonded over our sarcasm and the little quirks that made us, us. It didn’t take long for us to realize we were falling for each other, and just a few months into dating on June 23, 2021, Ashley couldn’t hold it in any longer. She said, “I love you,” and to her relief, Alex said it right back, knowing he felt the same way. Throughout our relationship, we've faced ups and downs, particularly when it comes to health, but we’ve always leaned on each other for support. Whether it’s an adventure to across the United States or up north to the cabin we’ve found that we love exploring new places together, creating memories along the way. Spending time with our friends and family has been equally important, and we truly cherish every moment we get to share with the people we love. On September 21, 2024, Alex proposed during a weekend getaway in Door County. It was the perfect trip filled with fun, laughter, and the kind of moments that we’ll never forget. It was after we had a beautiful evening together as a couple that Alex asked Ashley to be his forever. At home, we’re often accompanied by our two playful cats, Maizy and Max, who never fail to keep us entertained. Through it all, we’ve come to realize that we’re not just partners, but best friends and each other’s biggest supporters. We can’t wait to marry each other and start the next chapter of our lives together, building a family filled with love, laughter, and endless adventures.

Our Story

Emily is Ashley's best friend since middle school. No matter how far apart or how long apart Emily and Ashley can pick up right where they left off and have the best of times together! Alex will have to always share Ashley with Emily, as she was her first marriage back in middle school!

Nate is Alex’s best friend from college.  He is the brother Alex never had.  Although life has made time together happen less often, each time they pick up like no time has passed.

Bryn is Ashley's sister and they share a 9 year age gap! Ashley and Bryn have gotten a lot closer as Bryn has become an adult and they are able to have more in common. When you see Bryn at the wedding make sure to buy her a drink, as she will likely be overwhelmed by Ashley making her do things!

Hunter is Ashley’s brother and Alex’s soon to be brother-in-law.  Alex is excited to have a younger brother.

Kaitlyn is Alex's sister and Ashley's soon to be sister-in-law. Ashley is so excited to have a sister that is close to her age! Kaitlyn is also getting married in 2025 and Ashley loves that she can talk with her about wedding planning!

Zach is Alex’s brother-in-law.  The clothes matching in the picture was not planned and just shows how much they think alike.

Elena is Ashley's cousin and like a second sister to her. Elena is the same age as Ashley's sister Bryn. Ashley had many times where she would baby sit them, and Elena was frequently at their house when they were growing up. Ashley could not have the day without Elena being a part of it!

Josh is one of Alex’s many cousins on his mother’s side.  Josh and Alex both enjoy finding new whiskeys and other fine spirits to add to the collection.  From Luke Comb concerts to late nights at the cabin they always find a way to have a blast.

Jamie is one of Ashley's college friends who she met through other friends right away at freshman orientation. Jamie was married to her husband Jared a few years ago and it was the first wedding Ashley stood up in as a bridesmaid. Ashley cannot wait to now have Jamie as a bridesmaid in her wedding!

Neil and Alex met in college and bonded over their love of sports.   He is always there for a good time, especially game nights.

Sam is Ashley's friend since middle school. Sam went to Minnesota for school, so her and Ashley didn't see each other for a while until she was back in the Wisconsin area. Even with a few years apart Ashley and Sam are still great friends and Ashley loves being able to confide in Sam as she is a great listener and supporter.

Ryan is married to Ashley Guzzonato, one of Alex’s many cousins on his mother’s side.  He is one of the most compassionate people and would give the shirt off his back.  Ryan’s laugh is contagious, so please make him laugh.

Ashley met Amber through Alex as her and Alex have been friends since college. Ashley and Amber became fast friends, and Ashley is so excited to have her as a part of the day!

Brandon and Alex met the night of a Morgan Wallen concert when he met his fiancé Amber, who is one of Alex’s college friends.  He is always down for a good time so grab him a beer and watch the dance moves flow.

Nicole is one of Ashley's friends that she met through work. They bonded by going out to Singo(music bingo) and have become great friends ever since. Ashley and Nicole are always getting together and doing things! Ashley loves being able to have that friend who is always up to hangout no matter what it is, like the movies, dinner, a night in or a night out dancing!

Jesse is one of Alex’s many cousins on his father’s side.  Alex and him enjoy annual hunting and fishing trips together with a lot of family and friends.  Jesse always knows how to get the party started.

Ellie is Ashley's little cousin, who is more like a niece to her. Ashley and Alex are both so excited to have Ellie as a part of their big day and cannot wait to see her sprinkle petals down the aisle.
