We've been to the location in Indy multiple times and it is always a blast trying to navigate an escape room with friends. As of this publication, we have a perfect record (no pressure lol), and it may have been the topic of our first conversation after we matched on Bumble. If you're looking for a fun time with a group of friends, we highly recommend.
We've enjoyed stopping at the Graeter's in Fishers, IN on date nights from time to time. Ashley was particularly excited to share this little taste of her hometown with XJ early on when they started dating. Especially for friends and family who haven't had it before, we recommend checking it out. Our personal favorites are Cookie Dough Chocolate Chip (Ashley) and Black Cherry Chocolate Chip (XJ).
If you've never been to Jungle Jim's before, you are in for a wild ride. Jungle Jim's is an international market with two locations, the original in Fairfield, OH and a second location in Eastgate, OH. They have all of your standard grocery staples as well as a wide variety of products from around the world. If you're looking for something specific, odds are they probably have it. It's worth a trip to try new things and see all the fun decor.
Union Terminal is home of the Cincinnati Museum Center and also the inspiration for the Hall of Justice (fun fact for all you DC fans out there). Their children's museum is great for families, and they also host excellent rotating exhibits alongside their natural history and Cincinnati history staples. The architecture alone is unique and worth a visit to see.
Consistently rated as one of the top zoos in the nation, the Cincinnati Zoo is a fun spot for families to explore and see wildlife from all around the world. They're known for engaging in conservation efforts, as well as being the home of Fiona the hippo.
If you've never heard Ashley talk about how much she enjoys aquariums for hours on end, consider yourself lucky (her words, not XJ's). Newport Aquarium is a fun option in northern Kentucky that is a great place for family members of all ages. We know you'll have a splash! (Sorry, not sorry for the bad pun).
Smale Park is located downtown along the Ohio River. There's pathways to take a nice stroll, nice spots to sit and watch boats go by on the river, and easy access to some fun restaurants and entertainment spots in downtown Cincinnati.
