Q + A

Where do we park? Encourage carpooling

Please ride share if possible due to volumes of our guests. Parking will be in a field. There will be signs throught the driveway, please follow through the pine trees to the field of grass. Please DO NOT park near the house, shed or barn as this will be space for our vendors and handicap individuals. If you are handicap please park closer to the house. Handicap spaces are very limited, we encourage if possible, your party drop you off and then park.

What should I wear?

Whatever makes you comfortable. It is an outdoor wedding and likely warm out. Mostly grass. Heels are not recommended. Comfortable and supportive walking and dancing shoes are encourage. You also might get muddy if it rains. Casual or dress casual is just fine. Cremony spot it a bit of a hike and hill. Preferably don't wear white.

What will be served?

D'lish Freeport: Pulled Pork sandwiches, Mac N Cheese, fresh fruit, chips, potato salad, beans. Minne-Scoop-Ta: ice cream truck (many flavors, one non dairy option). For the ice-cream we ask you only take one serving per guest. Cake, Popcorn, Late night hotdog bar. Self serve buffet style. Due to volume of guest we anticipate everyone will not be able to eat at the same time. Dinner will start about 5 PM and end at 7 PM.

Will there be a shuttle to local hotels?

No, due to low need this service was canceled.

What will we do if it rains?

We pray for no rain in hopes to get married down by the river. If it is raining hard then accommodations will be made under the tent or shed where dinner and dance will be hosted.

If we camp, what will we have access to?

Campers will NOT have access to electricity or water. Please be sure to plan ahead. Have your water tank full and a generator or battery if you wish for electric. We unfortunately cannot accommodate these for everyone. We encourage camping so that our guests can save money and not have to purchase hotel stays. We also ask no one drinks and drives. If you choose to camp, you assume all possible accidents, risks and weather hazards that may occur to your property while located at the farm. See the accommodations section further for important details regarding camping. RSVP required for campers to Ashley.

What will you do for restrooms?

We have rented RV trailer restrooms with AC for the whole weekend as well as a handicap portapotty. There are 3 stalls for the ladies and 1 for the men in the RV trailer. We ask you respect these rentals. The house bathroom is strictly off limits. There is an out-house located near the barn for use as well.

Should we bring the kids?

We love for everyone to attend our wedding but numbers get high very fast when adding children. We also worry for safety if unsupervised on a farm. We ask if you are able make alternative arrangements. We want parents to enjoy and have a night off. If you choose to bring children we ask that they leave by 9 PM. Sadly, there isn't a play set or ways to keep children busy, plan in advance options for your little one. If you are bringing your children you must RSVP for them for catering head counts for the meal. Adding children's age behind their name for RSVP will be helpful!

Handicap or have a mobility concern

Sadly, if you are unable to walk a few blocks, we have to encourage coming to dinner only. Our ceremony is anticipated to be down by the river 300 yard or so down a hill. We have rented a handicap portapotty and will have sturdy chairs for dinner in the pull barn. Only limited arrangements will be made for close family for the ceremony. Feel free to reach out with questions.
