Q + A

Will kids be allowed?

As much as we love the little ones in our families, no kids will be allowed unless formally invited! This is a very intimate day as we only invited 50 people.

Can I bring a plus one?

No. We have limited seating as there are only 50 people allowed. The invites clearly explain who is invited. For example, if the invite says “Mrs. Appleseed” then it is just for her; if it says “Mr. & Mrs. Appleseed” then it is just for the couple; if it says “The Appleseed Family” then it is for the entire family. Please do not be that person who brings a plus one without speaking to Brendan or Ashley. Thank you for respecting our decision!

Will there be parking?

Yes, there will be parking! It is free and the venue should show you the way/where to park.

Is the wedding inside or outside?

The ceremony will take place outside, but reception will be inside the barn. Please prepare for any weather that may happen on our special day.

Am I allowed to take photos?

Please refrain from taking photos or recording videos with your phone during the ceremony. The ceremony is strictly unplugged, but you may do what you wish at the reception. There is a professional photographer that we have hired to take pictures throughout the day/night, which is why we would like everyone to keep their phones put away.

Can I bring my own alcohol?

No. If a flask is seen, we are at risk of a fee/charge and you will be asked to leave the premises. We will provide alcoholic beverages and non-alcoholic beverages.

Can I bring confetti, sparklers, etc?

Absolutely not. Again, we will be charged for this and you will be asked to leave the premises.

Am I allowed to smoke?

You are not allowed, per the contract we have with our venue, to smoke within 50 feet of the home residence, barn facilities, or neighbor's property. Smoking includes vaping as well. We will be fined or you will be asked to leave.
