We met around 2015 when I became close friends with his sister and would often times come over to their place to play video and board games together. We slowly got closer and, over time, built a secret crush on each other. Of course, his sister knew and was playing matchmaker. He would offer to pay for me when we went out to eat or offered to drive me home after hanging out. Eventually, in 2020, we confessed our feelings for each other and had our first official date; dinner at Culvers during a thunderstorm. Since then, it has been a wonderful adventure. In the summer of 2023, we went on a family cruise to the Bahamas, where Matt proposed on the open ocean. We messed up the order of things and ended up getting a home first - the cards were in order, and we fell in love with our home. Now we're excited to share our union with our friends and family on a day we'll cherish for the rest of our lives.
