Nine years ago, when Reid and Ashley were both freshmen in high school, they became fast friends. After a few weeks, Reid started waiting for Ashley after class so they could walk together to their next period. They continued to grow closer as friends, spending time together between classes and learning more about each other.

A year later, Reid finally asked Ashley to be his date to their sophomore homecoming, and she said yes. Over the past eight years, we've created so many wonderful memories together. We’ve always loved going to the movies, whether it’s for a casual date night or to catch the latest blockbuster.

We also love stepping out of our comfort zones and trying new things—whether that’s snowboarding, hiking through scenic trails, or traveling to places we've never been before.

Despite our love for trying new things, we’re also homebodies at heart. We love staying in, curling up on the couch, and binge-watching our favorite TV shows. Whether we’re out exploring or just enjoying each other’s company at home, we always make the most of it.

Reid and a few close friends were at the waterfront cottage, working quietly behind the scenes to prepare for the most important moment of his life. As Ashley’s parents drove her to the cottage, Reid made sure everything was set — some lights, Rose pedals, and last but not least, Taylor Swift playing in the background. He had arranged it all with care, but as the moment approached, Ashley started to feel suspicious. She had a gut feeling that something special was about to happen, but she couldn’t quite figure out what. When she opened the door, her eyes went wide as she saw the glowing "MARRY ME" sign and the romantic scene before her. In that instant, her suspicions turned into pure joy, and before Reid could even ask, she said, “Yes!” And just like that, the rest of their beautiful love story unfolded.
