Current COVID Restrictions for Large Groups in Oahu

As of 12/1/2021, the Oahu governor announced that all large, organized outdoor events will require all attendees to provide proof of vaccinations OR proof of a negative COVID test within 48 hours of the event. We will update this information as they release more COVID guidance!

Travel into Oahu

Currently, Oahu requires travelers to provide one of the following:

1. Proof of vaccination (meaning 2 weeks have passed after the second dose in a two-dose COVID-19 series or after a single-dose COVID-19 vaccination)

2. A negative test result must be a U.S. Food and Drug Administration emergency use authorization, or approved molecular test, or antigen test taken within 72 hours of departing on the last leg of their trip to Hawaii

a. Accepted testing sites can be found here: https://hawaiicovid19.com/travel-partners/

To provide this information to the state of Hawaii, you will need to visit the "Safe Travels" website at the following link: https://travel.hawaii.gov/#/

Before traveling, you will need to create an account that will include your personal information, travel information and your COVID exemption information (either vaccination or a negative COVID test). This information can be filled out under the "Trips" and "Apply for Exemption/Exception from Quarantine" sections at any point before your trip.

Within 24 hours of traveling, you will need to return to this website and sign into your account to fill out the "Health Questionnaire." After completing this section, you should receive an email with a QR code that will be scanned at the airport and possibly other businesses to verify your travel and COVID exemption information.
