It is the best way to RSVP, but if you have difficulty, text or call Ashley.
What is a Greek Orthodox wedding?
A standard Greek Orthodox wedding is comprised of the Betrothal Service and Crowning Service. Greek Orthodox weddings have remained nearly unchanged since ancient Greece. During a Greek Orthodox wedding, the husband and wife are meant to experience a wide range of rituals, symbolisms, and prayers in order to celebrate the core meaning of marriage. It is different than most weddings you have been to, so keep an open mind!
How long will the ceremony last?
The ceremony will be about 45 minutes long. There will be a send off after with bubbles so stick around when the ceremony is done!
What should I wear?
The attire of the wedding is semi-formal. Men do not need to be in a full suit, women do not need extravagant gowns. We want you to be comfortable so that we can all have a good time!
Am I allowed to bring my children?
Of course children are welcome. Even our little people are special on our day.
Will there be an open bar?
The question everyone wants to ask.. the drinks are on us, but the hangover is on you. Please just find a way to safely get home by the end of the night.
What food will there be?
During cocktail hour, there will be appetizers and please feel free to visit our Pittsburgh cookie table. Dinner will be buffet style with a salad, a beef option, a chicken option, pasta, and veggies. Make sure to leave room for cake!
