Nothing says romantic like meeting at a fraternity pregame - drinking mimosas before making it to the tailgate lots for an NC State football game! Best picture we had from shortly after this was a blurry, saved Snapchat story at our first date function together :)

Our first trip together! Lots of memories were made in Gatlinburg, Tennessee (iykyk). For our first Valentine's Day together, we BOTH surprised each other with a framed picture together... funny enough, we both used this picture!

Troy graduates from NC State in May and moved to Cincinnati, Ohio for his first full-time job with GE.

Troy moves to McAllen, Texas for his next job rotation. Long flights for Ashley to visit!

Ashley graduated from NC State and moved to Durham, North Carolina to start her full-time job with IBM.

Troy moves *again* for his next rotation, this time back to North Carolina, in Wilmington! We liked it enough to plan our wedding in the same city years later :) This picture is from the GE Wilmington Christmas Party, which was at Wrightsville Manor! (our wedding venue)

Troy moves... again... up to Boston, Massachusetts - conveniently at the same time COVID-19 picked up. The exciting, crowded city shut down for over a year before we could really see it at its best.

With Ashley's work going fully remote, we finally stopped being long distance and Ashley moves to Boston! We embraced what we could of the cold winter and went skiing together for the first time.

We went on our first international trip together! Spain and Portugal are crossed off the list, but we'll be back soon enough.

We traveled back to Gatlinburg, Tennessee and couldn't pass up recreating one of our first pictures together!

We enjoyed our 2 years in Boston but were ready to head south! We moved back to Raleigh, North Carolina and get back to enjoying what we did when we first met - tailgating!

We figured that dating for over 4 years was enough, why not get engaged in Venice, Italy? If you zoom in far enough, you can see Troy barely holding on to the ring after the proposal :)

After complaining about limited closet space, single vanity bathrooms and no yard for the pup, we wanted to officially plant our roots in Raleigh and became homeowners!
